- From a huge abandoned hotel in North Korea to one of the world's highest skyscrapers that remains completely empty, from a ghost town made up of hundreds of abandoned villa castles to Naypyidaw, Myanmar's deserted capital with huge twenty-lane highways, I present 4 megaprojects that turned out to be abject failures. In this video, you'll discover why these megaprojects failed!

Do you have any other ideas about failed projects for a new video? 🤔
Montreal's Mirabel International Airport... Was the world's largest at one time by acreage and planned to have 6 full runways + a STOLport. Instead it sits abandoned and is only used for training, cargo and the assembly of the largest mega-project in recent Canadian industrial history, the Airbus A220 (Bombardier C-Series)...
Or Montreal's Olympic Stadium which cost over $1B and has had its roof rebuilt several times. It still stands mostly abandoned but its cheaper to maintain it than to demolish it... The city was still playing for it well into the 2000's despite opening in 1976... Montreal truly is a city filled with failed megaprojects...
@@stickynorth Wow ! It seems very interesting, I will check it out, thank you!

700 identical villas. What could possibly go wrong with that development.
