Tiger could never beat a Kodiak they have problems with sloth bears. Polar bear can't because they aren't built for long fights its insulation for cold climayes would be its downfall against the Kodiak because it will overheat. Kodiaks have extreme fighting stamina.
I agree with you about the tiger. Tigers to me are simply the most fearsome big cats not the most fearsome land mammals. Polar bears and Kodiak bears still seem pretty evenly matched to me. Each have their primary advantage weapons-wise. Polar bears are carnivores and their bite is more lethal with a lot higher pressure that of a Kodiak bears. On the other hand, Kodiak bears have significantly longer claws than a Polar bear. It seems to me that if the Kodiak gets its paws on the Polar bear it likely wins. If the Polar bear sinks its teeth in the Kodiak bear a few times it would come out on top. With all that being said, the chances of a human surviving an encounter with a Polar bear are essentially 0% because of them being pure carnivores whereas the Kodiak may or may not decide to attack a human.
@@HalberstramshaberdasheryIt’s been reported that when Polar bears see grizzly they tend to stay away from them. So a Kodiak which is close to the size of a Polar bear which benefits the Kodiak. I will say that Polar bears are still more dangerous to humans than either the Kodiak or Grizzly. There’s a 100% chance of a wild Polar bear attacking a human if it crosses path. There is no “false charge” with a Polar bear. You’re going to die if you can’t get away.
Kodiak and Polar are similar size but due to the Kodiak's massive bulk and bigger shoulder and head it would win the majority of the time. @lordofthejungle7908 a tiger cannot defeat a Kodiak. There are female kodiaks with 230kgs of pure lean body mass, not including any fat. That’s the weight of an above average MALE tiger with bodyfat. Males can have well over 300kgs in addition to 200kgs of fat. Pure strength and insulation coupled with immense inertia and wrestling skills.
Wild siberian tigers don't weigh up to 300 kg, now they're about as heavy as bengal tigers which weigh between 167-234 kg and are getting even smaller, only captive amur tigers weigh that much and that's when they're obese, not necessarily big per se and any animal in captivity can weigh more than it should. And no way a polar bear weighs between 900-1,600 kg, that's the max number ever recorded, on average they don't weigh more than 600 kg.
Yeah there is no polar bear walking this earth right now clocking in at 1600kg... Wtf is this guy smoking? I would dare say very few even weigh 1600 pounds..
Not sure where you’re getting your information from, but it’s incorrect. Siberian tigers are the largest subspecies of tiger. The wild males typically weigh around 226kg (498lbs) which is the average, and can get all the way to 320kg (705lbs) for the larger ones. Siberian tigers are also around 10 feet long. As far as polar bears, there is absolutely zero chance a polar bear can weigh 1600 kilos. That’s absurd. The average weight for a polar bear is right around 1000lbs, and the largest one found in the wild was 2190lbs.
@@Un1t276 I dunno where you're getting your info from, you're outdated my guy, many of those sites we find are misleading, I make content about animals and I read a lot from books to articles to actual experiments, I've read articles where studies were conducted with many specimens as samples for each cat, the results would surprise you, even across the internet you'll find the right information on that, and if you read my comment right you'll see I that said that they weigh up to around 234 kg, just as much as bengal tigers, and even that 234 kg is not common. Siberian tigers were once the largest, yes, but not anymore, and yes, it is possible for tigers to weigh up to even 320 kg, but those are extremely rare cases that are nearly impossible, especially in the wild, normally that'd be obesity or anomally, coz tiger bodies aren't built to weigh that much, same that happens when humans grow more than they should, they develop health issues, cats in general aren't as big as we think, we're just fed with too much misleading info by the internet.
Tiger and Cape buffalo would lose. Kodiak can easily take down a bull moose. Polar bear would be a toss up. Rhino wouldn’t lose but wouldn’t win either. The bear could avoid its charge. Salty would win only if it successfully ambushed the Kodiak at the waters edge but not on land.
If a Kodiak tries taking a shortcut swim across a bay, an orca killer whale would have a good lunch. Probably the most likely scenario of all the animals outside of a zoo.
An orca wouldn’t attack a bear. Just like they don’t attack humans. But an orca is overkill: they can kill any living organism that has ever lived if it’s in the water. Proof of this is them killing blue whales. Orcas are the apex of all apex predators and it ain’t close.

Tiger could never beat a Kodiak they have problems with sloth bears. Polar bear can't because they aren't built for long fights its insulation for cold climayes would be its downfall against the Kodiak because it will overheat. Kodiaks have extreme fighting stamina.
Very well said!
@@bgizze01 Dude, if a Grizzly bear was the size of a Kodiak bear or a Polar bear, they would beat both of them. I’ve read that even though Kodiaks and Grizzly’s are both Brown bears, the Grizzly is far more aggressive and ferocious than the Kodiak bear by nature.
Also worth noting that Kodiaks fight other Kodiaks all during the summer before hibernation so they are much more adept fighting other bears than Polar Bears would be.

@My_pfp_beats_all_dog_breeds.a Kodiak is essentially a grizzly though no?
@My_pfp_beats_all_dog_breeds. Grizzlies are more aggressive but they are not slightly bigger than a Kodiak bear. Coastal Alaskan brown bears, Kodiaks and Polar bears are the biggest bears, followed by the grizzly. Grizzlies are the most ill-tempered though. Wfh is low diff? You nerd
And no way a polar bear weighs between 900-1,600 kg, that's the max number ever recorded, on average they don't weigh more than 600 kg.
ya alot of these youtubers just say the heaviest or what ever they see first on reddit with out doing any real research them selves.

@@illyaedwards7188 we've seen a case a where a tigress fights a a sloth bear and cannot win (pls check). The kodiak is much bigger and stronger than a sloth bear. So I think that 7+ of ten encounters will be in favor of the bear.
The Tiger, Polar Bear, and Cape Buffalo are not killing an adult Kodiak Boar.
Yes they can, They are much stronger than Kodiak bear
@@АличоайшеКостадинов Boar Kodiaks easily get up to 1500 Lbs. during Salmon runs. This page is stupid lol...
I've actually seen a documentary about bears... Two icebergs floated into each other with a Kodiak on one and and a Polar Bear on the other. When they confronted one another the Kodiak Bear backed down the Polar Bear very quickly!!
I once seen a 6'4" dude back down from a 5'10'' boxer. Ya so, one time doesnt = not rule of thumb. Dont be this ignorant, please?

What about a Lion
By ambush in face to face most of time bear wins
polar bear.
Seriously a tiger is mentioned but the lion is left out. The lion is on the African continent facing the biggest land animals on earth. The lion definitely could whoop a Kodiak bear. They are bold enough to challenge hippos, rhinos, giraffes and even elephants. Those listed animals are either as tough or tougher than every type of bear including Kodiaks.
YES,YES,YES YOU ARE RIGHT !!!KODIAK IS AWESOME BUTTTT! LIONS ARE THE UFC FIGHTERS OF THE ANIMAL KINGDOM BEARS DONT LIKE TO FIGHT AGAINST ANIMALES THAT WILL FIGHT BACK LIONS ARE THE KINGS OF THE JUNGLEAND LIVE IN THE LAND OF GIANTS!!!!❤TAKE CARE!
He are talking about single animal not whole pride .....lion are not then strong like siberian tiger they are even 30 kg lesser than bangal tiger on average
@@amitkarki2602 so am I sir. A lion has no problem hunting a giraffe or bucking up to one hippo or rhino by himself. He will back off though once he realizes he will get killed by the rhino etc. Tough bodied animals. The lion needs two and even more males to hunt rhino and hippo though and still will give up because the risks isn't worth the reward. Hippos and rhinos and elephants have too tough hides in comparison to soft Kodiak bears. The female lions hunt together though.
No lion or tiger would have a chance against a Kodiak bear.
Just look at that skull, thick fur and big claws,he would knock out any big cat with a swipe.
they only are good in africa because they live in prides a lone lion is a dead lion buddy.
Saltwater crocodile no chance, Tiger no chance, Polar bear no chance, Rhino ok, Hypo OK, Buffalo 50: 50
A saltwater crocodile would literally maul a kodiak bear in the water dude
@@ErdonShabani-v5j In the water yes, but on land??
@@murismuris6994 On land the kodiak bear wins 70/100
A Kodiak is killing all of those except maybe a polar bear but even then it’s still very close and the Kodiak could win a significant percentage of the time
A Kodiak bear would get destroyed by a Saltwater Croc or a Nile Croc. Also Buffalo are much bigger and stronger than a Kodiak bear and could gore it to death. The only one the Kodiak bear has a chance against is the Tiger, that's it.
@@Shaolinmonk781 in land no croc can bear Kodiak
@@nileshsharma5721 And near water a Croc would destroy a bear.
No way is a kodiak beating a hippo or rhino. Hippo or rhino wins 10/10 times and it's not even close
@@Shaolinmonk781 definitely would not. Kodiak bears are immensely huge and early settlers have stories of shooting them over 30 times and them not dying. And running faster than many of their horses. They can take insane damage and not die while killing basically anything it wants to
Awesome channel 🥰🥰🥰🥰
Although Bengal Tigers are slightly bigger than the Siberian Tigers in the wild, I think a Siberian Tiger has a better chance against such a Kodiak Bear because they often kill and get killed by Ussuri Brown Bears which are huge and can sometimes get as big as smaller Kodiak Bears. Meanwhile Bengal Tigers come across Sun Bears, Sloth Bears and Asiatic Black Bears which are much smaller than Ussuri Brown Bears. But let's be honest, out of all the animals mentioned in the video, the Siberian Tiger has the lowest chance of defeating the bear.
Dumbo tiger wont defeat a bear

That's what the comment says, degenerate.
@lordofthejungle7908
In the wild, Siberian tigers have shrunken in size due to prey and habitat loss.
@@BigBrotherTheWatcher1984 no thats old data......siberian tigers now are the biggest strongest cats.
They would defeat ANY bear
Ugh, it's a braindead fangirl
A kodiak vs. A salt croc in water would definitely give the croc the advantage. It would be interesting to see how it would go on dry land
One on one a hungry Kodiak Bear would definitely make a great meal out of a Caped Buffalo!!
Man will always be animals biggest threat.😢
Elephant should have been first on the list since they can defeat both the hippo and rhino! Not so sure a polar bear can beat a Kodiak. A few swipes of those 3 inch claws and it’s all over for the polar bear. Their white coat would turn red pretty quick!
Yes i know how tiger can beat bear💀

I'd like to see Hippo vs. Rhino.
instead you should’ve added ngadong tiger
The number one threat to a kodiac bear or literally any other animal is the African elephant.
There is no way a tiger and a crocodile will beat a Kodiak bear, tiger will get mauled, the crocodile will bite on pure fat, and will get busted on
A polar bear defeating a Kodiak is debatable
Just wondering if the Kodiak and polar Bears ever come across each other in the wild?!..

Kodiak is much mightier than any tiger
Interesting 😮
Also walruses can kill a Kodiac bear. I've seen a video where a female walrus defended her cub against a polar bear, and she killed it with one fatal blow with her tusks.
