    I appreciate that you put Spanish subtitles on your videos as I am currently trying to learn Spanish. I'm hoping to go to Costa Rico with my family once I am more fluent!

      I’m so glad you appreciate it! I have basically a half and half audience, so at this point it’s necessary, I’m just happy that people can make good use of it!! Thanks for watching!

    Can I just say your videos are something I always look forward to watching! My fiancé, his family and I are coming to Manuel Antonio in December 2021 we cannot wait. My fiancé was born in Costa Rica and adopted at the age of 3. This will be our first time back since and we cannot wait. I am so thankful for your content as I had no idea what to expect. After watching your videos I cannot wait to go!🏝💜

    Damn, what an incredible view of the volcano from the hotel you stayed at! La Fortuna is definitely a spot to check out when I get the chance! I appreciate the subtitles as always. I'm learning Spanish and what better way to practice and learn Spanish is by watching your videos with the subtitles. Much appreciated!

      Yesss! It was so nice, you'll definitely have to visit. I'm so glad you are able to put the subtitles to use! I'll keep you in mind when I am writing them, as motivation! They take a lot of time hahaha.
      Thanks as always Tony!

    Hi Emma thanks for another informative video. I was wondering who takes care of Ollie when you travel around Costa Rica ? The Lost Iguana Hotel looks first class . Too bad because of the rain you didn`t get to hike that walking trail. You were very lucky to view the Arenal Volcano because most of the time the top of it is clouded over. So you stopped drinking beer 🍺 how come ? Hey thanks again for this fun video and can`t wait to see your next one , Love and Hugs to you and momma Sue and lots of pats for Ollie xxx 🧡🧡🧡

      I have good friends who are willing to help out here and there with Ollie, which is so great. It was a nice hotel, I sure would have liked to check out the trails, but oh well!
      About the no alcohol - I'm going to share a few interesting details in an upcoming video!
      Take care!!

    what are the food/restaurants prices like on the resort?

    • @EmmainCostaRica
      @EmmainCostaRica  2 года назад

      From what I recall it was a touch pricey, but the hamburger was one of the best ones I've ever had, and it was huge!

    The weather in the north side of the country (San Carlos, included Fortuna), is a russian roulette, there's no rainy or dry season , We really never know how is gonna be the weather

    • @EmmainCostaRica
      @EmmainCostaRica  3 года назад +1

      Yesss I have noticed that, it seems very damp in San Carlos, from what I experienced in the two times I have been there. I personally really enjoy the rain and cool weather, especially coming from Quepos. Only it is a little hard to plan filming/working with camera gear haha!
      Thanks for watching

    Thank you so much for your reply! I am little bit worries about no uber to the hotel, I don't drive and I will be so limited because of this. Are there other resorts you love with similar setting(love the setting of this hotel) which would be easier for traveler without a car? TYVM!

      I've actually used Uber a couple of times here, but it is better to ask the Uber driver once you meet them to have their Whatsapp contact - they will likely be able to help you more than once! Also I recommend you contact Arenal Rides - the guy is named Carlos, he lives around there and I have used his services quite a bit! He used to do Uber there in Arenal! You should be able to find him on Instagram or Facebook with the name Arenal Rides! Otherwise I know Baldi is one of the closest to town. But this one is really neat.

      @@EmmainCostaRica Thank you again. I got in touch with Carlos, he is very reasonably priced. He also said Royal Corin is 100% better than lost iguana and recommended I check out Noah's forest. These 3 hotels are very similarly priced, not sure which to decide on

      The food was really good, I recommend the burger, one of the best I've had! tour operators very good, The North Fields Coffee Farm is a great tour! For shuttles I really like working with Coral Reef Tours!
