I had a ed30 stage 2+ APR and was gapping most things on the road, was an absolute beast. I have a S3 8v 67 plate now on a APR stage 2 and I still rate the ed30 more!! On a rolling start ed30 will win every time due to the weight difference
I just sold my audi A3 8v 2.0 tdi and bought myself a super tidy edition 30 mk5 golf gti, completely stock, super clean, no rust, 82,000 miles on the clock, full volkswagen service history 13 stamps!!! She must be the cleanest one in the UK, pulls so strong. I just got it fully serviced and replaced new springs all around, new front disks and pads. She's my baby, so so so good.
Sits well, sounds insane, puts the power down fantastically... I really liked watching the cars disappear down the road behind as you gave it on the throttle! Awesome set up! Good on the driver for making the trip too... great content as always 👌🏻

I have a pirellis with APR Stage 2+ and a bottom half of the engine. The car has around 360-370bhp and does go like a rocket. It feels a lot quicker than the M140i I had, and that was no slouch. Its certainly a weapon and looks really understated

Problem with r-tech is they only do tfsi/tsi like yh nikki gower is good but they only do tfsi
Ive always taken mine motors to Awesome in Manchester. Id argue theyre at least on par. My motors past and present have consisted of Mk4 1.8t, Mk4 25th Anniversary, Mk5 GTI, Mk6 R and RS3 8p. All had the Awesome/APR magic

The K04 turbo can't flow much more than 400 ft lbs. 440 ft lbs is only achieved with hybrid K04 turbos or larger. I know from experience owning a stage 2+ 8P S3 with an identical setup to this car. Must have been on an optimistic dyno.
Agreed,not a chance it can have 440lb/ft, it's either nm (which equates to 325lb/ft or the dyno is over reading
@@thomasw3449 yeah. 440 is the limit of the stock internals of the EA113 engine and a standard K04 sure isn't reaching it.

@@pembo2 In the city around 23-24 MPG and on the highway around 35-40 MPG, normally drive not sport mode (DSG gearbox).

I've got a standard (apart from a turbo back scorpion exhaust) and 197 bhp! Feels so slow need to do some of those mods to mine and map it. Good video as always mate

Dsg needs to be mapped to for any increase over 400nm, if you dont it bogs. The map is limited to 500nm. I had a Pirelli Edition, similar mods and power. Fast af, lively in the wet
