    A54 was the ambulance that rushed Juice Wrld to the hospital on the day of his passing.

    Excellent video, your fire trucks are so much better than ours here in Bathgate, Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿. Although I do watch Chicago Fire and have been over to your beautiful city, can you please explain what it means when the call goes out for what we call a shout, squad 3, is that a specialist truck? Like some in Scotland are called heavy rescue units. What is engine 51, tuck 81. Obviously ambulance 61 speaks for itself and Battalion 25 is the boss. At my local station we have 2 normal fire engines, LO3 (it’s base where the engines are located, Bathgate), P1 is the whole time pump, LO3P6 (retained, can be called out using a pager either from work or home), there is a Mercedes van with a water rescue boat on a trailer call sign L03S1, the crew are whole time. some stations have 2 whole time pumps and 1 Height appliance, mainly covering the main cities of Scotland, we don’t have many skyscrapers in Scotland. Anyway back to my question, can you explain the difference’s in the Chicago Fire department.

      Well, the Chicago Fire Department is a career fire department and the firefighters work 24 hour shifts and get 2 days off and work the next day and it starts all over again. Each CFD Station houses an Engine Company which is the pumper. Most of CFD's stations house a Truck Company which is a Ladder Truck. CFD has 97 Engine Companies and 61 Truck Companies. 51 of the Truck Companies are 100' Aerial Ladder Trucks and 10 are Aerial Platform Ladder Trucks or as we call them "Tower Ladders". CFD has 4 Squad Companies which are used in many different fire and rescue situations. In the downtown area of Chicago where my father is a Battalion Chief, They have many skyscrapers unlike Scotland. There are also many skyscrapers on the North Side of Chicago right near Lake Michigan. When the fire department gets called to an alarm, a computerized dispatcher voice calls out the companies, tells them what the emergency is and the address of where the emergency is occurring.

    When the dinky ambo siren blows out the earbuds more than the apparatus, you know you’re in ChIraq 😭 well, maybe we can blame it on the camera mics but let’s be realistic here 🤷‍♂️

    When is 86 getting a new rig

    • @aidankateri
      @aidankateri  2 года назад +1

      Their rig is 16 years old so I would assume it would take three to four years before they get a new rig. Truck 57's rig is over 20 years old and they should be getting a new one probably next year or 2024
