I work in the Entertainment Industry here in London and have written and produced for a lot of very well known Kpop and Jpop bands and artists, in the UK, the States, Korea and Japan. The songs are structured in a particular way and its quite deliberate and technical. The choruses aren't really sung in unison, although it sounds like that to the ear. The harmonies and scales are very abstract which is why specific idols sing specific parts depending on their range and tone of voice. You really wouldn't notice unless certain voices are left out. 🤔🇬🇧

NCT are a really unique group, however no one may have explained that NCT is actually a huge group with 6 subunits and 26 members: NCT 127, NCT Dream, WayV, NCT Wish, NCT DoJaeJung and NCT U. The permanent lineup units are 127, WayV, Dream and Wish, DoJaeJung is made of 3 members of 127 and NCT U is where they take a combination of any of the 26 members and make a song, no matter their normal unit. It’s just whoever fits in that song. NCT Dream also has a Killing Voice (where you will see two members of NCT 127 who are also in Dream, Mark Lee the black haired rapper and Haechan who had pink hair and the unique voice), and I definitely recommend all the subunits. WayV is more adult than Wish or the earlier Dream music as Dream debuted young and Wish are still young having just debuted this year. WayV are the China based subunit. There are also just plain NCT songs (NCT 2018 Black on Black, NCT 2020 Resonance, NCT 2021 Beautiful, NCT 2023 Golden Age) where they put all the members in one song and video. Since they kept adding members and units, Black on Black has 18 members, Resonance has 23, Beautiful has 21, and Golden Age has 20. We lost a few members and then gained a final 6 after Golden Age.

before you explore nct, i will explain a little. nct has 28 members and each has its own unit. there are 4 units in it, namely nct dream, nct 127, nct wish, and way v. each of them has permanent members. and there is still one more unit that can be chosen randomly, called nct u, if nct u is different from other units, because if nct u wants to release a song, then the members will be chosen who best match the theme of the song. so nct u is a combination of members from nct dream nct 127 way v and wish and does not have permanent members which means it can change when making a comeback. if you want to watch the nct dream mv i recommend you the song hello future or broken melodies. thank you

Nct 127 is k-male choir for a reason. They have diverse and one of best discography!
