Jesus is the light of the world. Nothing, no one else saves or provides the light that we need. He is God. We are not. I am not phosphorus. I bear no light. I am a fallen, sinful human. The best any human can do is to reflect the light of Christ by allowing Him to live through them.
What a wonderful perspective, Keith! I grew up listening to songs like "This Little Light of Mine" and think it's important for people to search for their inner light and remain hopeful especially during times of darkness. 💫(with gratitude to God for giving us our beautiful beacon inside). 🙏
@@Ashesanddreams Well, perspective certainly makes a difference in one's mood. Thankfulness is one way to achieve this. But, when you say "inner light", it sounds like you're suggesting that people have an inner divinity. It is to this that I was responding.
