Six weeks of vacation is pretty good! I think a lot of younger people really value having a good amount of PTO -good for them! I know one 25 year old who’s changing from a job with 4 weeks PTO to one with 5 weeks.
@@jps0117 How is that working out for Germany? Germany's GDP has trended down for the past 60years, and the macro trends are not in Germany's favor. Unfortunately, when you integrate massive social benefits like this, you can't change direction even though your economy is in decline. I just came back from three week trip in Germany after last being there five years ago. It was just sad. German efficiency, clean cities, etc that I loved about Germany having lived, worked, and travelled there over 30years seems to have disappeared.

Younger people value entitlement of getting everything for nothing without working or working as little as possible.
Six weeks of holiday (vacation) is required by law in Germany. Many companies add two weeks to make it eight.
