Worked for me, thanks! I even seemed to have made little streaks with the cloth, but that was better than whatever crap was on there before. The disc was one disc in a series set, and I _really_ didn't want to replace the whole set...

I use sandpaper....then finish it off with an angle grinder....pour petrol on the discs sometimes...and wow ...really cleans them

I rubbed dish soap on the disc, then submerged it in hot water for 5 minutes. It worked for me

Definitely not a shirt. Gotta treat like a camera lens or glasses, microfiber is best way to go I’d say. Careful pushing in grit and making scratches. and I was wondering if mild dish soap and distilled water would be okay too

The data is, indeed, on the top side, but laser has to go through the transparent protective bottom side to read it.
