This video is like my life from 1998 til now played out in fast motion til now. And after watching it I feel like I can either die peacefully or get on with my life. I found the depression cure right here 🤣
I knew Horse the Band WAYYY before they got "popular". Before they were signed and played in tiny garages. One time I wrote them a letter and they mailed me a letter back with a tiny toy shark inside...still have that thing almost 10 years later. SO AWESOME!
Yep same here I prided myself on listening to stuff no one knew anything about growing up. Most of those bands ended up being massive years down the road.
Yeah, it is a very cool thing to see a band when it's just seedling. I saw Underoath play on a big pallet in a warehouse. The pallet was like 6 inches tall so it was barely a stage they were just playing right with us. I think that was high school for me so like 15 years ago? I don't know. But the toy shark...I just couldn't believe they took the time to do that. It just added to how weird/funny they were. And YES the keyboard player was nuts when I saw him too, same with Underoath actually. Keyboard players need to act a little extra nuts if they don't have parts to play I guess lol.
sorry about the delay... I actually have no say in what plays before/after/during the video. Because I used Horse the Band's music and Universal's film, I basically have no rights to any of this... other than bragging rights I guess. Any money generated from the ads has not come my way
Sorry guys, NBC Universal blocked this video because "The Wizard" is their property. Honestly, I would argue that having this video on RUclips would generate more views and purchases of The Wizard because it arouses nostalgia.. you can't reason with the Old Guard, unfortunately.. Thanks for all the views and feedback! I've enjoyed reading every comment. -blazinred13
Dude, people don't put ads in their videos, youtube does that. It will also put different ads for everyone based on the websites they visit and the searches they do. Kind of scary sometimes lol.
thanks for replying to that. Like you said, I have no say in whether or not I get ads because none of this (other than the editing) is my creative property... nor have I received any revenue

@ravemastermario What a coincidence, I happen to be nobody! But seriously, everything gets a little clearer when you realize the outlook on life that Nathan, Erik, and David seem to have. Check out the Earth Tour clips Erik's uploaded to his horsetheband1000000 account to see what I'm talking about. Once I can find a way to get it working on this ancient computer I'm going to watch the whole 10+ hours of the Earth Tour footage, then I should be able to better articulate my thoughts on the band.
@KaToren horse the band used the whole nintendocore thing only as a joke. the don't make nintendocore. and only a couple of their songs refer to nintendostuff, pol's voice, house of boo or cutsman (which is sega stuff to be exact) there are a couple of samples too for example in the new album desperate living in the song the failure of all things. but this band is in now serious way about this nintendostuff. it was a joke.
dude. maybe check out RUclips's TOS before ripping on people. I uploaded this for fun a while back and didn't expect nor haven't seen a dime of the ad revenue. W/E ads RUclips puts up are benefiting the site and the content creators.. I receive nothing but bragging rights. as stated above, I take no credit for the song/film
Okay, to everyone replying to my earlier comment. Yeah, no shit they call themselves nintendocore. I get it. Stop filling my inbox with the same "Its nintendocore stupid" comment every 4 minutes.
Haha yeah it's pretty cool. I just realized I sound like some privileged asshat in my comment so I apologize, I was just trying to setup some context in which I received a really cool gift!
The best song ever written.
It's so perfect how after she asks "What is that?" the host of Hollywood Squares says "fire from the gods".
This song back in 2003 was ahead of its time.
one of my favorite fucking albums of all time

That's fucking awesome, I saw them play with the buried on my 16th birthday, the key board player was so drunk... Still a good show.

Yea, I could never get that thing to fucking work.

Sorry, mate. They won't let me upgrade it to broadcast on mobile and TV because I don't have the copyright
@DaCanary Brutal Assault named theyer genre like ELECTRO HARDOCRE, i tihnk its funny :D:D
Make it available on mobile.
CUT
What movie is that from I can’t remember
The Wizard (1989)
... This one is pretty old. Higher quality version of the music video here: ruclips.net/video/IzPyq6_sgdw/видео.html
Except there's a quote IN the song, "I love the power glove, it's so bad"
@DaCanary they do have a genre. fuck they are the ones who created and named the nintendocore genre
its nintendocore, even though they now say they are not into that anymore. im not sure what they consider themselves now.
nintindo core is the shitttt
yeah. Thats what I hate the most about the video. Too bad I knew nothing of codecs and wrappers back when I uploaded this in 2009
BEARS
except it isn't. so there is that. the song is about one of Winneke's childhood friends.
henk henk
@ohdeargodwhatisthat That's what they JOKINGLY call themselves.
jenny lewis and kevin arnold!!!
Bears
@KaToren horse the band used the whole nintendocore thing only as a joke. the don't make nintendocore. and only a couple of their songs refer to nintendostuff, pol's voice, house of boo or cutsman (which is sega stuff to be exact) there are a couple of samples too for example in the new album desperate living in the song the failure of all things. but this band is in now serious way about this nintendostuff. it was a joke.
Here from Diction! BEARS BITCHES!
Fucking breakdowns.
I dont get it
"I love the power glove. It's so bad..."
Says Donald Glover am I right or wearing?
@rockwizclown
An insult Coming from someone with the handle "rockwizclown"
Yup.
dude. maybe check out RUclips's TOS before ripping on people.

yea obv it is whats ur point?
@erickbodom10v312 If you'ed look it up, you'ed find they don't like to be called Nintendocore, and think it's a joke.
really? ya think?
Are you serious
@DaCanary Nintendocore. Thats what they call themselves
@dirtyharry954 most of the band frowns upon that genre title, but ya
at first I just knew the 100DEADRABBITS!!! cover of the song lol but the original is way better, great song :)
The video says "cutsman" and it has footage from powerglove. not as obvious as youre acting like it is
HtB calls themselves nintendocore, they coined that term.
Okay, to everyone replying to my earlier comment. Yeah, no shit they call themselves nintendocore. I get it. Stop filling my inbox with the same "Its nintendocore stupid" comment every 4 minutes.
Why is this here? Like doesn't make sense. o.o
Nice work on the video, but you shouldn't have an advertisement that you're profiting off of playing before it. Not your IP!
Haha yeah it's pretty cool.
I just realized I sound like some privileged asshat in my comment so I apologize, I was just trying to setup some context in which I received a really cool gift!
great song...and yes, the power glove was so bad. it sucked horribly...
he is right it is SO bad.
