@@terstbrows3374 Nothing here is impressive??? This is a piece of technology that in real time is changing the graphics on the fly. Imagine in two years what the successor to this technology will look like
it's scary when it switched back to the ingame footage from the AI reimagined one, that it's like you're on drug and you think you're just playing with toys, and it's suddenly a real war when the drug wears off, with real buildings destroyed and real men killed
0:24 A man is getting invaded by the Germans in Lego city, start the new Mark V land ship!! HEY!!! Build the Mark V land ship!, plow over the enemy!, and stop their attack!! The new Lego Mark V land ship from Lego city!
The incredibly grassy and mossy ones are actually pretty rad, it's like soldiers time traveling to those battlefields to fight in them thousands of years later or something like that.
i love how all of these arent bad ideas, lego/toy battlefield game, pixel/low-poly battlefield game, cyberpunk battlefield, some kind of... yarn/knitted battlefield game. all of them would sell tremendously.
0:10 - Uh... why haven't we gotten an FPS like this yet? That's looks ridiculous. Imagine getting blown up and your yarn is splayed all over the place in a grotesque manner.
@Voided009 True but there's definitely ways to make a game like that today, even if some concessions have to be made that keep it from looking as photorealistic as we'd want.
BF1 already looks amazing, but actually playing the game with these effects would add a whole new layer of fun to everything. Lego-themed Battlefield looks like pure joy, and playing a game set in WWI with a cyberpunk filter over it would make for a uniquely exciting experience.
Perhaps in a decade we'll have enough horsepower to do in realtime, so then it could be added as a post filter like sweetfx. though realistically, people would already be sick of this by then
This looks awesome! I have a strong feeling that the exact vibes captured in this video will, not long from now, be nostalgic. I reckon by then we will refer to the way this era of AI looks as stylistic, before AI generated stuff becomes almost indistinguishable from real stuff.
I know some people don't like AI content but I love these, we are diving into the dreams of an AI that's like being born, it's still a child with a crazy imagination and dedication but doesn't yet fully understand the world, as we all did once
I beg you to just record 5 minutes of gameplay on whatever map, and just use that cyberpunk filter. No cuts, just raw unedited gameplay with the filter on.
honestly the AI is doing really well, its when it doesn't have footage to work off it just turns into something weird so this AI has done well specially with the lego ones
0:481:21 I REALLY want to see people do reload animations from all sorts of games but put through these AI's. The AI is actually pretty damn good at showing those reloads and i really want to see this done more.
@someguyontheinternet3083 ofc, but this video and the AI gen was not, which is what I'm saying, I think the AI was making the edit based on film of aircar or some similar game
I remember the early ai memes of the xenomorph in court. Those images were nearly modern art pieces with how barely recognizable they were. That was only like 2 years ago or so. It is really impressive how fast ai tech is moving
In reality you can't always exactly identify what you're looking at, as opposed to a game, where everything is more predictable. AI has a potential to make games more immersive.
Man... Imagine playing a game where your character gets drugged with some kind of hallucinogenic drug, and you have to battle through the enemy base to escape while the visuals shift like this every so often
the worst part is id play 80% of these if they were real games. a ps1 graphics ww1 game? id play it. a lego ww1 game where the vehicles and buildings and stuff fall apart like lego bricks? id play it. a plastic army man ww1 game? id play it. hell id even play the yarn version of battlefield 1. just goes to show how well battlefield 1 was made in every aspect from the gameplay to the sound design. the visuals can be completely changed and it STILL looks fun to play
its insane how well this detects parts of the image and the accuracy of those pixel/retro parts

Intel Integrated graphics.

Battlefield PS1
1:59 Battlefield 2077
I would love a Sci-Fi ww1 battlefield game
This is the kind of Sci-fi battlefield that should be made. No distant future bs, just some good over the top neon sci-fi

There's a black mirror episode about almost exactly this. It's super eerie.

Voxel based horror.

1:59 a futuristic city with less cramped up spaces looks kinda awesome
Its scary to think about sentient AI soldiers possibly having such a detached and dehumanising perception of the horrors of war.
