    Don't fear, generally 99% of a lush product is lovely fresh natural ingredients and the rest is super safe synthetics just to make sure it lathers well or doesn't go mouldy. Unlike a lot of other companies, Lush will list preservatives and sulfates on their ingredients lists even when its such a small amount that its not required (like 0.01%). Other long words at the end of their ingredients lists are usually naturally occurring byproducts of using essential oils.
    Just make sure if you're trying to use more natural products, to look out for what is replacing the sulfates or parabens in a product i.e harsher parabens or chemicals. There are lots of beautiful brands out there, but there are also lots of brands that use hype words to suck you in.
    As for good shaving products, D'fluff by lush (Vegetarian, not vegan) is beautiful but I usually just use shower gel. (If you can't tell I'm a lush nerd haha).
    Hope you found this helpful :p And keep up the great videos!

    Lush's D'Fluff is the best shaving cream EVER! I really like it as it glides really well with the razor and doesn't clog it up at all. It also makes your legs feel really soft.

    You're completely my inspiration right now. First off, fantastic music taste. Also I am in the process of switching to natural/organic skin care and changing my wardrobe to me more minimalist.

    I love Kiss My Face products(especially their deodorant), I don't know why you don't like there shave cream, but coconut oil is an easy and cheap alternative. Or when I run out I use a plain bar soap to shave.

    I just use body wash instead of using shaving cream. I've heard that coconut oil is a good alternative as well.

    I've recently tried to go natural, long story short something went wrong. The products did not go well with my hair, started "dreading" so when I got my relaxer a ton of it came out. So now I'm left with thin hair and trying to save it and grow it back. 😞 guess being natural isn't for everyone.

    • @TaraEfobi
      @TaraEfobi  9 лет назад

      +Rachel D. Being natural isn't for everyone at all. Don't let anyone tell you how YOU need to be doing your hair. Do you! Also, relaxed hair may technically be damaged, but that doesn't mean your hair can't still grow long and look great. Although natural hair is great, relaxed hair is great too!

    Why did you become a vegetarian? Is it for animal rights, the environment, health, etc?? I'm super curious! I've thought about removing meat from my diet.

    • @melely146
      @melely146 9 лет назад

      +Laura Berkey you're in the right direction!!! there's so many videos and books available readily to help you on your decision. I personally removed meat from my lifestyle just January last for optimal health. Havent looked back since.
      Tara has also mentioned that she's interested in veganism, hopefully she'll do a video on her veggie journey :)

      +Laura Berkey I think it's a little bit of all of those, but learning about the environmental impact is what really pushed me to become vegetarian.

    Use hair conditioner on everything except your lady bits. It's better than shaving creams and doesn't clog your razor.
