I love this. Recently put together my first super8 film. What film did you use? I think I like 50D the most, but will probably shoot more 250D since it has a nice amount of grain. Keep up the awesome videos!
omg this is beautiful... so much character and passion can be seen in this video!! the song paired with the look and the subject matter is super feel good. keep it up.
Hey man I love this! But I was just wondering where you got this developed because I just got a super 8 and I have been looking where to get the film developed or more so digital
Wow mitchell this is amazing! Before anyone had dslr's and all the fancy equipment there had to be a start, and through all of the older equipment there were still great stories! really shows how far this photography community has come and its really exciting to see you show your creativity and share it with us :) thanks man!
Good job man, did you use a plug in for the super 8 look? and i don't mean the footage, i mean the thing around it that simulates de edges of the film itself, I really like how it looks
I have same question. It's so hard to find any information and it is so frustrating. Almost all youtube videos said: how to processing Super8 by hand. It's is frustrating.
I found this place online a while back but haven't used them myself yet. Just ordered a Super 8 camera and am waiting for it to arrive. I def got bit by the youtube super 8 clips bug. Hope the link helps. www.pro8mm.com/collections/film-processing/products/super-8-processing
The Kodak negative films have a very fine grain, but a somewhat matt picture. If you want something a little more powerful and realistic, you can use their own film types from www.kahlfilm.de in Germany. You get positive film, but you should digitize it because the positive film material in the projector is scratch-sensitive. Maybe a cheap alternative to Kodak.
i actually cried to this. i went to europe with some friends and filmed it in 8mm and wanted some inspiration ... i found you and wow. just wow .

Mr. Shoemake told us about you and I want a camera what should I get
Thats awesome! If you want a starter camera I always suggest a camera from the Canon Rebel series (T3i, T4i, T5i, T6i, T7i.. etc) hope that helps!
Wow
Glad you enjoyed it!
