Man, you've gotta hand it to these guys. This is NOT a glamorous rock star life...no frills, no luxury. These guys have been doing blue-collar touring for 30+ years and still putting 100% effort into every gig. My hat's off to Overkill.
Don't know if this was before bobby's nose cancer but you can see some tumor growth on his nose, luckly he caught it and had surgery before it metastasized to the rest of his body.
Bobby was the nicest guy I've ever met! He and Verni actually offered to help carry our equipment into the club! And that was in 1991! They were awesome!

Their music takes you by the throat. Just an onslaught of aggression. I love that their bass guitar cuts through the mix the way that it does. Sounds incredible
My favorite....Bobby is simply amazing...that voice....hearing this band always makes me happy, and has since the 80's...now my kid loves them. Keeping thrash alive.

I've seen Overkill 13 times met blitz 3 times,DD once,Dave Linsk chatted with me for 15 minutes last year at the Ritz Ybor City..all these guys are mega down to earth and cool/friendly people

chroscielewski We get turned down by 80-90% of the bands we ask, so we don't take it personally. Destruction was suppose to happen a year, or so, ago, but they unfortunately cancelled day-of. Annihilator, I've never tried to get them, but I'll try next time they're in the United States.
