Although I love the US and capitalism, its treatment of Russia was always twisted and sick. My mother, was born in Russia, 1979. In the 80’s, under Soviet control, they had everything, supermarkets were full of products and life was the best, the 90’s were horrible though: there were only small stacks of salt in grocery stores and old people died in the cold, in the streets of starvation, and it was all because of America’s cold war policy. With their help to Yel’tsin, a coup was staged in the USSR and made people’s lives all over the USSR miserable.
Megyn has to ask a question to Putin, then cut out the interview to give a self-statement with no refutation, then present the opinion of an "Expert", then go back to Putin, because if she just waits to Putin to respond completely she obviously would get obliterated. I just was informed that the unlikes are for Megyn's poor reporting.

to be honest, full version is kind of different :) maybe from emotional portret of putin - yeah, different, but from logical side they are close to each other. Main thing is that this interview looks stupid and I am sure that NBC knew this from the begining. Question is why did they publish the interview? They hoped he'd be the banner and an actor of a coup that would topple Putin. 14 foreign ambassadors came to the court hearing when the court had to rule his imprisonment instead of the restriction of travel order which he had violated 60 times.

@@V-q8is I support the right things Putin does, which are most things he does, and I criticize him for what I think he did or does wrong. Last time I voted for him with some doubts, next time he hopefully runs for presidency I don't think I'll have any. The good job he does by far overweighs his errors.
I'm enraged over Navalny's case. He belonged to jail for quite a while. I am angry with the authorities for having indulged and forgiven him the whole time just because he is an opposition guy. Two conditional sentences is a truly unique case, unprecedented to my knowledge. A random guy would have long been behind bars had he done what N. did.
"Rotting" is too strong. He's in a good prison with scientifically approved meals and health care. He isn't forced to any hard physical labour, just like any convict in Russia isn't any more. (Under Stalin they were). His prison is only 200 km from Moscow and his 2.5 years' time is short. He isn't any worse off than he deserves.

Overall i found the repeated questions and lack of hearing of those answers to those same repeated and repeated questions to be very unprofessional journalism after all this was her second time interviewing him and to be honest she talks about how Putin could do a dictatorship, while Putin seem to talk about the Russian laws and upholding them, she definitely trusts going over there and to ask questions in any fashions she want, affirm this safety in her very own action.
Why is everyone saying the host asking questions is propaganda? Just stating facts and asking questions.
