I really hope kids are still doing this in school. Rapping really gets kids to open up musically, emotionally and socially. when I was in high school in 2009 there were a lot of freestyle circles that let everyone get involved. I was hanging out in a circle one day when the MC said " let the white kid say some shit". Although I wasn't great; I rapped about some troubles, I had fun, the circle loved it, and boosted my confidence. I'm a high school music teacher now! Best job I've ever had!

They prob weren't satisfied with where it ended,
and they definitely weren't happy with how it ended,
and the very fact that they were stopped in the first place shows that the school system doesn't want you to progress any extracurricular (that word being used to mean out of the entire school system rather than just the curriculum) activities you might have, therefore putting a damper on thekr creativity.
All because they apparently needed to learn how Henry VIII killed his wives, rather than have fun doing something they actually enjoy.
