If you don't have a metallic paint pen, you can also dip your seal into a metallic ink pad before setting the seal on your wax. The color will transfer to the wax and highlight the design.
You can also use a metallic antiquing wax. Just rub a finger in the pot, and gently dab it on the seal. Finnabair by Prima, or Metallic Lustre by Deco Art are two easy to find brands. You can also use those over dry embossed backgrounds to add beautiful gold antiquing, AND you can use it on any balsa wood or chipboard accents for scrapbooking, either before or after painting. It’s such a versatile product, and a little goes a long way.
You're amazing. I can't believe that you mixed all those colors of wax and got the perfect purple color for your card. These cards are very elegant and regal and loved them. Thank you so much for all your tips and techniques.
Oh my Yana, these are the most elegant cards I have ever seen. Seriously! From the 3D background, and the coordinating paper, to the oyster pearls and the wax seal, they have your signature style and couldn't be any prettier! Thanks to a warehouse sale, I finally have enough Spellbinders floral elements to style my own cards. I'm having so much fun building up my stock of colorful die cuts. These cards will give me even more inspiration to design my cards. Your video file is like a fashion lookbook, or like being in a candy store! I have been worried about you and your neighbors. I'm glad you can pour your energy into your card making. Sending wishes for peaceful days and nights, and love from Connecticut. Cath🌷🌷
Dear Yana thank you very much for your fascinating video. Very often I thing that I need all the beautiful items from a video....but that is not possible. I love your videos very much. I am very happy about evry video you share. Thank you so much 💖
Wowza Yana! I just love your monochromatic series! Just beautiful 😍. You know I’m giving this a try! And the wax seals are the perfect accompaniment for floral reflections 😊
Can’t wait until I receive the Spellbinder’s wax beginner set! These cards are magnificent Yana!!! Thanks so much for sharing your creativity; I pray you’re staying safe!!! Sending prayers & love!!!
Stunning cards! I love how you teach us something new every time every video. This monochromatic theme will be very exciting to try. Thank you & you're in my thoughts and prayers!
I was so excited to see what you would create using the wax seals. Your cards are truly stunning! Yana, you are so talented and it’s so inspiring to watch you create! Thanks for always brightening our day with your talents! Sending hugs! 💛💛💙💙🌻
Just adore what you create. Do you like to make one complete card at a time? I usually have to make 12 for card swaps. I'm re thinking of not assembly line.
What paper are you using it on? I know I haven't used it much, it is a bit tricky. There is a new black foil, it has a matte fishing. That one is supposed to foil really well, but I haven't testes it yet
@@Yana.Smakula I am using the Hammermill paper. The sayings I made came out pretty good but larger images did not come out good. Also using the large glimmer plate had a very bad result. I have not been hot foiling for a long time so the black glimmer foil was purchased pretty recently. Thanks for any ideas you might have.
For someone like me who can't color coordinate to save my life, this video is a divine sent! also love the seal touch :)
Stunning cards. The colour of embellishments really compliment each other.
So good to know that you're safe & able to get back to your passion!
Thank you. Such beautiful cards. 👏😊💕

Yes! You can also use perfect pearls! Such an amazing effect!
Ooooh! I’ll have to try that!

I does indeed look amazing. Hope you are ok.
Do you have any tips for using the black glimmer foil. I am having trouble getting good results with that one. Thanks. Love your videos.
