Sorry Vossy but we’re all waiting to hear Goodwin sook for another 10 mins
Flowers and wine for Melbourne 😅
What sooking. Goodwin seemed fair in his replies to all questions. Carlton didnt play well again, just luck.
Vossy’s sooking is far sookier than Goody’s…as we will see next week
@mightybabyblues29 and what about all the dodgy handballs melbourne got away with and enjoy Pickets late start next year
@@waynegrosvenor9699it won't effect Melbourne much because unfortunately next year, they will most likely be against my team in round 1 and they will beat us again. How many games will he miss, you reckon?
Vossy, what a leader.
But you wanted him gone early on when you lost what around 8 in a row
Come to Brisbane Vossy ❤️ you mate.

“To win a final, you’ve gotta win it a few times in the game” - Voss. So happy for him and the players
Carlton winning is good for football, no matter who you support.

As a lions fan I disagree strongly this week 😂
For the good of the competition let's hope lions smash those scumbaggers Sal cap cheats.

So proud of the Blues, so much emotion last night after the win, to turn things around in the second half of the season and be playing a preliminary final, it shows how important it is to have a great attitude and culture at the club, amazing work.
Vossy should send Maynard flowers & wine
Mr Voss you are now officially bullet proof. The fact you didn't have a heart attack speaks volumes. Thank you for being a witness to something fantastic.
Carlton has the hunger, to get them to the Grand Final, All the Best Blues,
We don't call him Voss the Boss for nothing. What a champion! 💙
Actually the way cripps crashes packs and his third efforts reminds me of Voss at the Lions.
Vossy v Lions next week !! Fireworks 🎇
As a lions fan I find it unbelievable that the lion legend who won us our last premiership is now standing in the way of the lions winning another premiership 20 yrs later!
He grew up a Carlton supporter so parity is restored.

Well done Blues , Demons out in straight sets again lol. I really hope they beat Brisbane next week , I can't stand the circus that goes on at the Gabba with needless music blaring out after every Brisbane goal. The most annoying team in the AFL , go Blues. This coming from a Pies supporter.
The collispuds definitely are the most annoying team in the AFL

Usually a Carlton hater however bloody good on em 👍 just be careful us pies will pull your pants down if we get a chance 😂
Is it because pies like to suck cawks ? 😊
Last year was a great look at what we can do & Vossy had another look at this year, tweaked a few thing's, we looked a bit messy but made us stronger in the end, still vibing on what we have achieved & how I'm so proud, EVEN after so much disappointments over the year's, BUT NEVER LOST FAITH in my belief in this club, win draw lose, the attire will be worn & the flag will fly, C'MON YA BLUE BAGGER'S!!!
I have a heart condition and I'm not sure these close games are much good for me. If I die supporting the Blues I will die doing something I love.
I have tachycardia and anxiety, I love that we are getting the wins, but these close games are pushing me to my limits 😂
No way do they have the polished skill level of the remaining sides , but Carltons pressure can be off the charts, GF are rarely won off the back of polished skill , they are won on hard , determination and pressure application- who knows, could be a historical situation unfolding right in front of us and I hope it plays out that way .
And no , I am not a Carlton supporter
Up the baggers!
Good win Blues
Carlton just played their grand final
Sad but true, I agree with you. I reckon Brisbane by 5 or 6 goals but happy to be proven wrong.
thats what the pundits nave been saying for the last 12 weeks😂
Richmond 2018 could be Brisbane 2023 and Brisbane is levels below that group of players.
I love voss
Two months ago scumbaggers supporters wanted his head lololololol. Oh well the lions are gonna smash them at the gabbatoir next week and wipe away Voss the toss arrogant smile lololololol.

@@user-om1xr4oi9j, the attendance is capped at 100K for annoying reasons.
Congratulations to all involved. Go the Blue boys and move on to next week. The Preliminary final.😊
That finals taste is going to be rewarding for the club with a window we have for 5 or 6 years to win a flag or 2 !!!!!!!
Melbourne hit the post a couple of times & had a couple of 50's against them/kicking all those points & losing to the Pies by under a kick & then here again by 2 points were probably a touch stiff to go out in "straight sets" but ultimately i think it was the blues "will" that got their noses in front in the last minute to win a thriller.. what a match!
It was definitely Melbourne's bad kicking that let Carlton win the game
@@stevelozevski8151 maybe, but Carlton seem to have more heart & more will. Although on paper Melbourne appear to be a more gifted side..
@@kotchstevens2321 no it's not maybe. That's the reason
@kotchstevens2321 mate they lost by 7 points to the pies, last I recall that's more than "under a kick".
And we seem to be forgetting that the pies lost 3-4 sitters themselves in that first and second quarter... Game could have been well over and done by half time if the pies were accurate.. Elliot missed 2 in that first half.. But that's footy mate.. You miss shots, you lose.
No. Carlton outscored Melbourne on their home ground. No one cares about your opinion! Move on flog!
It will be a different ball game in Brisbane. Carlton finish 2023 in third place. Very good improvement.
Yeah we will see mate UP THE MIGHTY BAGGERS
@@johnroach9691 I live in Brisbane so I'll meet you if you come up for the game if you win and give you ten dollars for it. Any 1 person can have it. But it will definitely stay in my pocket. Be grateful for 2 great wins.
You are probably right, but finals are not the same as round games mate. Look at Richmond getting flogged by 39 points in the 2018 Semi's. That group of players were levels above the other teams that year. Who could have thought?
@@jesusisking8502 magies tiger's two MCG team's. Lion's haven't lost at the Gabba this year. Hope blurs reality. Lions are prime. Not knocking Blues. A couple of years off a grand final. Richmond were over rated in 2018.
My god what will carlton look like when they play well! They do have a chance, 2 games to win and they can if they now play well. Charlie needs to learn how to get the mungrel going and turn up when its needed, their moment is available if they take it
We need Mckay, Martin and Sos back in because they are foils to Curnow on the forward line. TDK did a good job last night but if we continue to bomb the ball in and not lower the eyes we wont beat Brisbane. They will kick a score we cant match. That may prove the difference.
I think blues fans were realistic in their expectations. Making finals was already a win.
There was optimism for an elimination win, I wasn’t as confident for the semi but was hoping dees would be rusty coming into this game
A prelim win would be amazing however facing an in form lions at the Gabba are gonna be their toughest challenge yet.
Overall I’m confident in saying blues fans are happy and proud of the mid season turn around and even if we lose the prelim we can turn around and say “we went out fighting”.
I don’t want them to be content with getting this far but they should all be proud of a job well done. The hardest part will be maintaining this mindset and never settling for anything less than a top 4 finish

Mid season a girl called 3AW footy pushing the idea that the Blues could make finals. With lots of sniggering and muffled laughter they humored her for a few minutes then dismissed her. I wonder if they are so smug now?
Funny how Collingwood and Carlton will probably be in the grand final… because the Dee chocked in front of the goals….multiple times….

Carltons success has proved a sustained period at the bottom of the ladder provides a club with the opportunity to establish a really strong playing list.Obviously North and West Coast are on track to achieve the same and the criticism from the professional experts highlights what little the commentators know about establishing a top four team.Seems a little unfair to reward finishing last but that is the structure the AFL has created and the Blues appear to have exploited it.
Previously, Carlton had three number one picks on its list. It takes much more than high draft picks.
What a braindead take, Carlton itself is proof that being in the doldrums is no guarantee of success
Yeah like St Kilda?
Sustained bottom for over 2decades dude lololololol. It's all luck and timing to get a team firing. Sal cap doesn't allow scumbaggers to buy premierships anymore but still scumbaggers are good at cheating the sal cap that's their way scum blue cheats. Lololololol
loooll how many picks has Melbourne burnt in their rise up the ranks?🤣🤣
The biggest disappointment for Melbourne supporters is the fact they kept Carlton in the game all night by their atrocious goal kicking / missing. Tough way to lose a game they should have won.

Can't afford to drop good luck charm Cunningham, he has to play.

It’s funny listening to Collingwood supporters talking on “Carltons behalf” of their feelings about the win. I’d hate to break it to Pies fans but Melbourne and Carlton aren’t really bitter enemies/rivals… and they both hate you lol. Carlton and the Dees are kind of friendly to each other (through the Barassi connection, a little like Richmond/Essendon with the sash) so you guys are only talking on behalf of yourselves. (I’m a neutral…)
The players absolutely hate each other

Oh well the daisy Dees would've got smashed in prelim at the gabbatoir lololololol now scumbaggers will cop a mauling next Sat night dude lololololol.
omg right. Melbourne lost the game, Melbourne threw the game away. Not just the 17 missed goals, Gawn touches a goal on the goal line, Pickett gives away dumb 50's and in the last 2 minutes Viney shanks a clearance kick to the opposition. I've never seen so many clangers and bad decisions.

@@tubester4567what’s baffling to me and always has been, is still a good majority of so-called professional footballers are poor at kicking with their their opposite foot, and blokes like Viney are REALLY poor. If he was a decent right foot kick, then no way would that have been a shanked kick.
Celebrate this win Voss. It's your last one for the year. I don't follow any team in the finals but you've had your day of glory. Gawn should never have played. Hes not right. But that's a learning curv. I think a Collingwood Brisbane granny now. Hopefully the lions can go all the way.

Wouldn't be comfortable mate that Brisbane side is not consistent. Will be interesting seeing how they play after the week off. Don't forget Voss obviously has a lot of experience and knowledge of the Gabba and what to expect there for finals, Ironically more than anyone else at that club now so it might not be as smooth sailing as you think.
All the pressure is on the lions. We shall see if they can cope.
