    This is exactly why I don't watch the news or pay for cable. Extremely basic info and a cheesy fake smile at the end.

    almost worthless news report. Please give some numbers. Tell us what doctors say we need, whats offered in the drinks, loss rate of typical outside activities etc

    I need electrolytes for a condition I have. And all I get is ……. Drink water!

    I’m not taking health advice from a non fit person. If you sweat, you need salt and sugar. Floyd Mayweather swears so much he drinks Coca Cola after his workout just to get sugar. Not recommending that but sometimes after intense training sessions, I’m light headed and weak and a big Gatorade (not the zero sugar) gets me feeling good again.

    “You don’t lose vitamins when you sweat “but you lose a lot more and water is not everything especially if you’re working outside in the hot sun or if you’re sweating a lot you need electrolytes
