    I have to say that I downloaded the free trial of PI and hated it. All the tutorials on RUclips sucked and I couldn't get a picture any better than a 3rd grader could draw. Your tutorial has opened my eyes. This is by far the best tutorial I have watched. Thank you. My wife will probably hate you once she finds out I purchased PI. I'm going to blame it on you. Those are the breaks. Seriously, thanks for a great tutorial.

    When I watched your video on the EZ way in Pixinsight and you mentioned that you might do an OSC video I thought that will be just perfect. And it was! Thanks Steve, I can just start to see a way through the fog that is processing with Pixinsight. Cheers from NZ.

    I almost didn’t watch this because I’m not ‘zactly a beginner, but I can’t NOT watch a Steve processing tutorial, so here we are. This was awesome! Your “how” is always spot on, but I really appreciated the “why” and the “when” you brought to this one. Super helpful to demystify some of the crazy PI tools, even for a non-beginner.

    Ok don’t laugh. But you know what could be your longest and best new video I mean epic video.
    You got through every function of Pixnsight and explain why and when you would use them and how with a quick example. I’m having a problem with the Asiair live stacking at 300s subs causing hot pixel clusters. Someone suggested using defect map would fix it. I on the road so I have no idea where it is or how and when to use it. An I’m sure many of us don’t know more the 20% of the functions You are the master. I will be happy to donate to your channel. Thanks for thinking about it. Anthony

      Hey Anthony! Unfortunately I can't really help with live Stacking as I've never used it on the asi air.
      Definitely give me some thought to trying it out though. Appreciate the kind words and willingness to donate. For now just spread the word😊

I'd love to see some more just like this for different types of images that might not include so much nebulosity as I'm sure the techniques would be different.

No other video or videos about pixinsight have given me any confidence, certainly not enough the spend the money on it. This video should be THE recommended “gold standard” for new PixInsight wanna-be’s like me! I actually can’t wait to buy PixInsight now and put your process to work!! Hi, I like the purple backgrounds, they increase the entertainment value. It would be nice to get a short (or longer) video on the Stellarium DSS Red band and how you use it for planning. Actually, doing it in Cartes Du Ciel (DSS Red) would even be better! Also, The Astro Imaging Channel has a Steve Miller coming up ... is that you? If so, I did not know you had a Dob!

    Thank you, very interesting😀. I've read a lot of recommendations to go for PixInsigt instead of my Photoshop. I read that Astro Pixel Processor has a good stacking function. Is that also included in PI? What are you using? Could you recommend any online course for PI?

    • @enteringintospace4685
      @enteringintospace4685  2 года назад +1

      Thanks! Pixinsight has a Stacking script called WBPP that works great for Stacking, I also stil use Deep Sky Stacker.
      I've not used APP mostly because it's and additional cost. Honestly as far as tutorials there are a bunch that will teach you a ton of features in pix you'll probably never use. All of my video show you exactly what to use to get your data processed. After learning that you can branch out to other features.
