I’m a collector and I have every secret rare and I don’t want them to be reprinted because the value will go down. But that’s just me. I know a lot of people want them to be affordable when I get that but I spent a lot for these a lot of saving.
Yes, the value will fall drastically. Most of these have been out for years now so a lot of players and collectors who bought in early got their money's worth by now. However, with Bandai you literally never know which SCR they might consider ''meta''. We might get 4 bad reprints hahaha
Exactly! 2025 is supposed to be amazing and this is already a great start. We just need more events, at least like last year, and then there will be no stopping us :D
2025 Blue support please. Bring back a balanced Gamma 1-2 leader Support cards to make these high cost cards from early sets be cheated out for less. I am super curious what Ulti's will be reprinted since the past ones we already got a red and a blue. I feel like this time it might be Yellow and green + black. personally i think Beast gohan should not be reprinted as a basic card but more as a V2 Rare from a premium box or a (chance) pull if you get what i mean. But i know my opinion is wrong XD
I play fusion world because it’s easier for me to follow decks because each Leader in that set needs the support from that set.l from what I understand. Is this the same for Dragon Ball Super Masters when their sets are released? And I am confused on how archetypes work in this game. Is there any way you could help with this?
Hey, yes it is the same as in Masters. You get 2 leaders per color, except in black where you get 1 leader every 2 sets or so, and you get full decks in the set to go with those leaders. The only cards that you'd need outside of the set are maybe, maaaaaaaaaaybe promo cards but often you don't need those, and of course you'd need older staples if you want to play competitively :) For example, if you wish to play the newest yellow Cell or green Vegito, all of the cards for them are in the same product, bt26 :)

So for example, in BT26 we got 2 cards for the old green Videl leader from set 14. These cards are usually dirt cheap, they are a couple of cents, but we never know which leaders are getting support until spoiler season comes. I believe that FW does it the same, with older archetypes getting support in the next product. Anniversary boxes, like the one in the video, are out once per year and they solely have cards which support older decks + reprints. Promos have some support for older decks but it usually isn't mandatory. Basically, if you want to play a leader from the new set, you can get all of the cards for it in boosters. Down the line, it might get some random support in another set or a product, but the full deck is 99% of the time available in the set that the leader come out with :) For Cumber, you can get the full deck in BT20 product and you'd need one promo cumber and support for the anniversary box 2024. I want to say yes but there's licensing stuff to consider which makes stuff very complicated when it comes to that leader. I really hope to see a rebooted version one day, I know how much players love that leader!
@TheLookoutDBS i guess that makes some sense but if they already have a ss4 goku an vegeta deck in a different color why is it hard to get the lisinse for another one?
@@l2g82 It is complicated, it goes beyond just a form and such. You'd also need license for SS4 Gogeta as you need a new boss monster because the old one was banned.
Im all for SCR reprints if they don't tank the originals like how Hatch, Vegeta, and Broly plummited. If they do the reprints Im hoping its like collector box that its harder to get and keeps the value for both original and new decent.
I'm fine with them tanking value. Beast Gohan came out years ago, pretty sure that players who paid 200$ for it got their money's worth by now. We can't hold these SCR unprinted due to value dropping, not when they are the best possible choice in their slot. That being said, if it were newer SCRs then I'd be against it. It is a major feelsbad if a card comes out in 2023 and is already reprinted mid 2024 but in this case it has been years between release and reprint.
@@TheLookoutDBS Ok I can agree, the thing is that for people like me that live in countries where don't have a good community...it's impossible to play with others. I only play with a friend of mine, ad we want other players, also expert people to help us to understand some rules..so only for these!
@@alexdragon01 I know, I get that's an issue :/ the best that I can offer is our discord, it is the biggest place to play online and we have a bunch of new players always coming in. Everyone is very chill and they will help you learn the rules (+ we have webcam locals, free and proxy legal, twice a week). The link is in the description :)
This anniversary box itself looks sweet but I'm a bit worried about their product release schedule for next year. If this is June and it's going to be between set 27 and set 28, does that mean we are going to wait another 6 months between the release of those two? That would be cutting down to 2 sets per year and that's a bit scary. I think a lot of players will get bored/burnt out after Nats and before Set 27, if that timetable happens repeatedly it's not going to help anything.
Hey, the product release schedule won't change as far as I'm aware. It will still be 4 products per year, 3 sets and 1 Anni box. They are just moving the anni box to an earlier date, likely because it might not have the new mechanic in it so it doesn't make sense to release it with the new block :)
