Our beloved Bravos have had a string of great regular season performances just to falter early in the playoffs, the Falcons blew an un-blowable lead in the super bowl, and the dawgs can blow out top 25 teams when nothing is on the line but can't bring it together for an SEC ship. It has been hard being a GA sports fan for the past couple decades, not because we haven't had great teams but the opposite and being unable to finish when it matters.
@@schmoove_ Last year was last year. All I know is the Dodgers won a franchise record 106 games, had five all stars and their three starters are all going to finish top 5 for the Cy Young and the Braves sent them packing in 6 games. This is a special team, and I'm proud of Fried for bouncing back from his rough outing before. What a night - congrats Braves, World Champs!!!!!
Finally the ppl of Houston sees how a championship is won the right way. No one had the Braves going to the playoffs outside of Braves nation when Acuna went down so they won the WS to let everyone know who they are. Congrats Champs.

Huge congrats to the Braves and all their fans. I am a Giants fan but I was rooting for them ever since they faced the Dodgers lol. The Braves really deserved this WS win for sure
Exactly. After the years of heartbreak (save for 1995), it made it all the more special. Though I have seen many incorrectly say that this is only the Braves’ second title. Technically not true. Yes, it’s their 2nd in Atlanta, but the 1914 Boston team and 1957 Milwaukee teams count as well even though they were in different cities.
As a Braves fan. We may have lost in the divisional round against Philadelphia, but I was only rooting for the Astros in the World Series because I would feel so much better to say to myself that Philadelphia could not do something that Atlanta could do.
Braves fans around the world, we lost acuna soroka, ozuna and I also tried to give up this season, but AA, the coach, and the players never gave up and came to the playoffs with the least wins, but eventually beat all the strong teams and won. I cheered for this team since I was 20 years old and eventually did it in 10 years. Braves fans all over the world, let's enjoy the festival!
Right here with you. Washington beat them in 2019 when it should’ve been us. Freeman damn well deserved it. All this talk about how we have the worst division in baseball, and yet we are now the only division to have 2 champions in the last decade. 3 in fifteen years
I'm a Braves fan but since we just beat the Astros and Washington won in 2019, can we have the Marlins go to the WS against them just for the sakes of shitposting
I'm a Pirates fan as well, and I wasn't really rooting for one team over the other, but to be honest, I kind of wanted the Astros to win just to see what the baseball world would think.
I know sports is a short term success thing but as a Braves fan I have watched the Soler homer about 50 times and it never gets old. It still makes me grin ear to ear.
Just imagine 96-98% of the U.S. rooting for You because you’re playing the Astros lol. This win was everything to baseball fans because of the Astros doings a few years ago. A Cub fan here and I wish that Dale Murphy would of got a chip too
i'm personally happy the braves won. i mean the team with the least amount of wins and basically had the smallest chance of being champions. when you think about it 4 teams had at least 100 wins and none of them were in this year. the braves did the impossible and proved everyone they could do it. good for them.

Not really. The pitching for the Astros just wasn't throwing anything with Javier, Garcia, and Valdez making the bulk of the Braves runs. The hitting could've made this series go to game 7 or won it. GG's.
Bro I remember after Acuña’s injury people were talking about trading everything away and rebuilding. AA doubled down, made moves and now the Braves are World Series champions. It’s incredible.
True. This moment will be something future generations will remember as many today were too young or not even born yet in 1995. (I myself was born in January ‘95 so I of course have no memory of that series).
Max Fried took that ankle step personally. And the best part of Soler's homerun was how he made Garcia give him the pitch he wanted. That was an amazing at bat for Soler. He knew he hammered that ball
I was at Atlanta Braves stadium tonight watching this game with thousands of people. The energy watching this game around fans made it feel unreal. We had a large viewing event here in Atlanta. This game made a statement. The Braves deserved this one. Atlanta needed this one. It feels so damn good.

All this without Acuna. I loved that he was there rooting his teammates the whole time tho. Hope he comes back 100%. Young man is talented.
Agreed. It would’ve been so easy for him to spend the rest of the season bitter about being hurt, arguably the only person who was more excited than him was Dansby lol. Acuna is truly a class act.
That young man is a beast and I can't wait to see him back on the field!!
@@cherylvaughn2215 IF we had Acuna this might've been a sweep
They wouldn’t have won with him. He’s bad luck with the way he acts. He’s way better as a cheerleader
Imagine Soler, Acuna and either Peterson or Duvall. Monsters in the outfield!!

Even a Yankees fan like myself can appreciate and cheer on the Braves. Well deserved and brilliantly played 🙏🏽

Congratulations Braves! What a season
It’s been 26 years and I watched this video at least 26 times and counting. I’m so happy for the Atlanta Braves.
I'm not going to be able to sleep at all! Still so pumped! 26 years of waiting, finally over!
I still remember the call
"The team of the 90's has won the WS." Been a while. 👏👏👏
That was a Saturday night
The great year, 1995
I remember the first time my team won the world series...
..oh wait I'm a rangers fan.
@@joem3343 I’m so sorry you’re team has gone through never ending mediocrity.
I’m not even a Ranger fan, but even I can’t fathom to watch how agonizingly close they were in 2011.
I unfortunately feel they’ll never rebound from that debacle.
So happy for acuña man. Love to see him going crazy on the sidelines, it's truly wholesome to see how happy he is!
I hate that my team lost but Ron Washington dedicated 50 years of his life to baseball and at age 69 he gets his first ring. Congrats Ron. Takes a lot of the pain of the loss away
Being a Marlins fan living in Houston
Congratulations to all Braves fans and THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR BEATING THE ASTROS. There's alot of crying going on here this morning LOL
The city of Atlanta can finally celebrate a championship. I'm so happy that we won it in six games. Go champs!!!!!!!!
their MLS team was the last to do so but no one notices that lol
The Atlanta Braves have won a World Series before lol their last one was 1998 I believe.
@@tinglewolfasmr7548 you might be too young or just unaware of ATL sports to understand OP's comment.

Maybe if there’s another 60 game season the Dodgers will have better luck. Or if they spend 300 million instead of 260 million.
@Anthony De Los Santos You got a real ratio this year.
As a Brave fan for over 30+ years and saw the last World Series win back in 95, this was great to see. They have the potential to be back here again next year as well.

Okay, as a Mets fan, I’ll never like the Braves. BUT, I’d like to give Braves fans, and the entire city of Atlanta a genuine congratulations. Atlanta sports fans 110% deserve a title after all the heartbreak they’ve suffered through in the last five years alone, not to mention they beat the cheats. The baseball gods righted the commisioner's injustice.
the all star game was boring this year anyway
now watch them give the rings to the Rockies
@William Davis you're clueless
Got to watch the Braves in ATL while visiting for my brother's wedding a month ago. They brought the magic number to 1 that night, and I could feel the magic that the Royals had in 2014/15, the air was electric.

Freeman's swing is so damn smooth keeps his head down and follows the ball with his eyes grade A swing.
So glad I got to watch the world series game with my dad and see the Braves win. What an amazing comeback season this was!
This just made my night. Congratulations Atlanta Braves!! ☺️
As a Braves fan, I’m happy with this series. we hit with power, pitched, and absolutely crushed the astros!
Not really. The pitching for the Astros just wasn't throwing anything with Javier, Garcia, and Valdez making the bulk of the Braves runs. The hitting could've made this series go to game 7 or won it. GG's.
Man, I was sooooo pumped after that Soler 3 run HR! I’m like they’re actually gonna do it & man Fried pitched phenomenal! Excellent game all around!
It's so crazy to think about where this team came from to accomplish this. We trusted the process and it finally paid off.
Bro I remember after Acuña’s injury people were talking about trading everything away and rebuilding. AA doubled down, made moves and now the Braves are World Series champions. It’s incredible.
I love my Atlanta Braves! We have been through a lot and we deserve this!
