What’s cool about this is that I fight and I slip a lot of punches in sparring and my partners compliment my slip counters so watching it is dope but doing it yourself also feels cool to be good like that. Tom aspinall would kick my ass
@@kG-ht5zmbro jones lost a round to handicap stipe and been ducking the biggest fights his whole career and gifted many bad decisions… jones if he tested himself would be like 22-7😂 Tom is going to end that man’s career literally…
Maybe. Jones is probably a better grappler, with a longer reach and more rangey striking. But he has struggled slightly more with taller fighters. We will have to see, I would say if Tom can’t find his shot, rd2 submission for jones.
@@ranjotrakkar6663 no he isn't. Do you actually train? You'd know there's a huge difference in skill between heavyweight and the lighter weight classes
Great movement, but the cherry on the top was the kimura. I haven’t seen one of those at a top level for a while, but maybe I missed a fight. Anyways, he’s so well balanced.
You do gotta show tho earlier in the fight tom got clipped by that right and by volkov and gave props because it was so quick and accurate. Thats the beauty of what tom does compared to other heavyweights that makes him scary he laerns from his mistakes so fast and can change his gameplan in litteral moments .
@Mma94477ooh It was a slip. You actually saying he got dropped? LMAO! It was ruled a slip on the official scorecards too. It's on the UFC site. Tom was off balance throwing a kick, veered back to roll with the shot which barely grazed, and he fell on his ass as a result. Tom haters are funny.
@TheStraightestWhitest i do not hate tom he would whoop jones ass and mauled volkov in baisically every metrick but if someone lands a hand on your chin and you go down its a knockdown . Realistically tom is the next evolution in heavyweight fighters and could be our ufc goat .
@Mma94477ooh Nah, it's not a knockdown if you slipped while someone touched your chin. You have to actually get dropped for it to count as a knockdown.
I keep seeing Jones fans say Jon can just take the fight to the ground as if Tom is not a BJJ black belt. Jon is in for a tough night wherever the fight is contested.
Tom is 1000x faster, stronger than out of prime Stipe. And still Jones took 3 rounds to finish him and was getting hit a lot. Imagine what Tom would do to Jones.
@@Max-qy5bla Kimura comes from similar position but because he straightened the arm it’s not a kimura. Kimuras keep arm around the 90 degree angle and opponent twists the arm in order to break bones.
This isn't a kimura. It's a very unconventional straight armbar using an arm lock. Doesn't usually happen from half guard, but Tom has been doing BJJ since he was 7, so he knew to create space by reaching his upper body across that of Volkov so he could still hyperextend Volkov's arm. So yes, it shows great fight IQ.
What a head movement by Tom
Wonderful! He also pulled back on a head kick right before the cross!
@CageClassics Beautiful!

I need a head from tom
Tom is fast as cat
Indeed. Fastest heavyweight
@RandyDaGamer yes
TomCat!!!! From Tom and Jerry
And strengt like bear
That takedown is beautiful
💯
Jon does not want any of this smoke from Tom. He’s just a complete package, a genuine heavyweight with a complete skillset.
How do we know he has a complete skill set? Hasn’t all his fights ended very quick

This guys in the flow state
I've never seen a Heavyweight move so fast and so smooth as Tom.
Tom's fighting IQ is out of this world.
TOM is the real heavy weight champion 👍💯❤️
Such a complete fighter

Honestly a rematch between these two is needed!
That slip to double leg is the slickest thing I’ve seen at heavyweight.
More Pavlovich please
If he would’ve threw an uppercut into the slip 😮💨

Tom is one of the fastest hws in ufc history, i understand why jones is ducking him because there is no way jones beats aspinall
And this is all in his 1 round finish record this man is very good he need to go to a lake and fight that duck

No he slipped. And Volkov gave him props because he dodged the follow up even while on the ground, which got a smile out of Volkov.
@TheStraightestWhitest nah it caught his chin , one foot of the ground than connected , perfect shot but it wasn't no slip.

It's a straight arm lock
I don't get how both Russian HW have no ground game with Chechnya & Dagestan wrestlers being world class.

Nice attempt at a troll. Or you're genuinely clueless.
