If only someone was recording!! Basically some Easter Europeans messed with the wrong Prius owners (my dad and me) Lool I was in my bedroom and as soon as I heard the sound of the jack I knew what was up, ran downstairs got the baseball bat and my dad got the cricket bat, ran outside and my dad knocked the one who was looking out with the cricket bat and moved the jack and the car landed on the guys head!!!! These idiots were doing a robber in a 2019 plate Passat, I fucked all the windows and the all headlights and wing mirrors of the car, did more damage to their car which probably cost them 3 times the CAT price, anyways my dad was mostly satisfied about the fact that the guys head was fucked but he quickly jacked the car up again lol he didn’t want to kill him! Those 3 fuckers learnt to never steal a cat converter ever again, Hope this story makes you satisfied and know that these fuckers do get payback sometimes
Priuses also being hit here in Washington state. I have a 3rd gen just like the one in the video. The car is completely disabled when they cut it out since the coolant drains out and replacement coast about $4000+ on that car. All so these scum bags can get a few hundred in scrap. There is a special place in hell for thieves like these. I installed a cat security shield on my car as a theft deterrent. Cost me $280 installed. Cheap insurance considering the risk.
Wrap some kevlar tape or a kevlar sheath around it. Might slow down cutting through and jam the saw up. and cheaper than a steel plate. Fireproof to 800f

Theives car is Renault Clio, index OY57RBZ, TAXED DEC 2019, MOT NOV 2019. O IN THE REGISTRATION PLATE IS MADE TO LOOK LIKE a, C, THEY TRIED THIS ON A CAR IN BARNET N20, THEY GOT CHASED OFF. SCUM BAGS.
