As a Malayali, it is heartwarming to hear someone not from Kerala pronouncing Kozhikode the right way.
Intro part ❤ Seeing the beach brings back memories. I visited this city few months ago. It's a nice city filled with hospitable people.

@@keriddunk1520 When it's a native language officer, who is hardworking and loyal, local politicians will see them as a threat to their own career and even ego clashes can happen 😅 Everything will get better if they align to their views 🥺
I believe issues over corruption is different, this ego clashes and political opinions are different, when it comes to the relationship between officer and representative.
The nice and caring part has its share of favorism aka discrimination, mostly to please the vote bank majority.
But I must say, young mlas here look very promising. God knows what will happen when midlife crisis hits.

@@kishanprakash3006 That's true. According to their perception, a good cadre means bureaucrats treated as VIPs and seen as powerful. They want to be treated as VIPs, not civil servants. In the context of Kerala, Keralites are egalitarian and literate. So they don't tolerate VIP privileges, and people see them as public servants.
