How to record music in Korg PA series keyboards using multi-track sequencing, an introduction

- This is the first part of a series of videos about Sequencer mode in Korg PA series keyboards which enables to record music in Korg PA series keyboards. Though, I am using Korg PA 600 keyboard for this purpose, the method is same for all the Korg PA series Keybboards. The high end versions of the keyboard have some advanced features.
Korg PA 600 keyboards use the traditional methods of 16 track sequencing methods. It has three recording modes: Multitrack sequencing, backing sequence (Quick record) and step backing sequence. I will be making detailed videos on each of these methods and editing the song that we recorded to make a complete song track good to sing along.
In this video I am going to introduce the main elements of Sequencer mode and multi-track recording mode. This is very important, because a clear understanding of each of these elements will eliminate lot of confusions about handling these elements. It will also give you a logical understanding of the purposefulness, usefulness, mechanism of these elements.

Hi Manoj, how to bet fingered bass in Backing sequencer mode. while the chords work in Lower along with styles, the Bass note is not coming along with the chords... This happens well in style mode but it is not coming in Backing sequencer quick record mode

When Karaoke Jockeys need MIDI tracks so that they can Transpose, change tempo and change instruments on stage, this feature is used. MIDI tracks made professionally are sold at high costs for such events.

Hi Manoj, I recently bought a Korg 700 and when I record a song in meter 3/4 after sometime the meter automatically change to 4/4 ! Why is that happening?
This generally should not happen. But if you recorded a quick recording and used a style which is in 4/4 instead of a 3/4 meter that might show a 4/4 meter in the sequencer mode. Otherwise I do not see any reason why it should change the meter.
It is happening even if I do not use any style. Drums will still play in 3/4 but over all meter is changing to 4/4. It happens mostly when I try and change instruments or maybe while quantizing. Don't know. Will try again
