Haven’t seen a JRPG this beautiful since Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch. And I don’t mean in graphics. The feelings, the soul that was poured into this game. Absolutely beautiful.
Has anybody noticed that the animation in this game is SO DAMN good that they even move their fingers correctly according to the tune they play on the flute??!!! THAT's what I call dedication!
It is all over the place, some of the animation is amazing. Then a character will turn to walk out of the scene and it will look like something someone made in gmod. I hope they can continue to improve with each new release and more people can experience these mostly amazing games.
You know you're playing a Xenoblade game when they make you tear-up at the beginning of the game. And you know they will continue to break you throughout the game because... well because why not?
A play through of the Xenoblade series is an exercise is destroying your own mental health 😅. I adore these games but damn they pull at the old heart strings constantly.
In every good RPG game, there is a scene that you get to where you think "Wow... this game just got real". From this scene onwards, I knew that I had a real experience on my hands. I still haven't finished it yet, but I am nearly 90hrs in and this game continues to deliver. I love the XBC games so much...
The one thing that could've made this cutscene even better is a title drop. i was really expecting one too. maybe around 1:45 when the camera pans into the sky.
This is my first Xenoblade game and its really blown me away. As a music junky, I usually pay wayyyy too much attention to the soundtrack and ruin the game for myself, but this game just feels so fluid with everything it has. Really one of the best OST's I've ever heard. Feel like Ive probably done myself a disservice by not touching any of the older games first, but now they'll without a doubt be the next games I play.
Having the context of the previous Xenoblade titles does help enhance the experience with xenoblade 3 but it's not required. Each Xenoblade title has it's owns self contained story, although Xenoblade 3 does rely on lore/characters that were introduced/built up in previous games more than the others. So there may be moments where you may not get a reference or be confused. Definitely go back and play the older games after you're done with XC3 though!
This music just makes me forget all the hate I feel and remind me how much more there is to life. In the end, every life goes on forward, start to finish. There're no shortcuts, there're are no set rules for it. You live your life and that's it. In the end we only will become a slowly fading memory in the hearts of those who see us off. I am glad we can make those memories as in the end it's the time we spent with the things we do and people we love that gives life meaning. It's so sad that not everyone in the world can feel all this or even have chance to do so...
The harmonizing of their melody is a symbol that harmony should come to their war-ridden nations. They fit perfectly despite coming from opposing sides.
Just got to this part today August 3rd 2022 and all I could do was just watch with my mouth open wide I was just blown away at how beautiful this was I had a lot of tears in my eyes couldn’t see for a hot min lol. But wow 10/10 very well executed.
So I played this and sat through this scene last night. And Im not kidding my eyes were so watery it made me think of all the dead soldiers who actually children who are dying without any purpose and these chapters discovering that they can grow old It's such a powerful scene and it's less than 4 hours into the game this game is going to rip my heart out Already beats the 1st and second one and the first one was incredible
I came back to this scene just now, and it made me start crying again. This song hit me with all the memories of the game. Good times, bad times, boring and fun moments... Yeah, this is a good game
Game of the Year awards is a fucking joke at this point. I highly doubt this game will win many, if any awards due to half the characters not being LGBT community members.
Noah would argue that whether they get an award or not matters little. As long as he and his team continue to do what they do, fighting the Consuls and saving Aionius, that’s enough for him.
I love the other Xenoblade games, I really do. And they all have moments where I just had to sit back and soak it all in. But this was...so phenomenal. I barely knew these characters, but I recognized Vandham in a heartbeat. And watching his soul be sent on again, after I'd so ecstatically been pointing at my screen and laughing like a child. There was something so grounding. So understandable about it all. These games are fantastical and never stray away from it. But then there's this shit. And I have to recall the many funerals I've attended and the many goodbyes I wish I could've said. And I will never feel more connected to these characters more than I will in the moments where I see myself in them.
Despite Interlinking moments prior, this is the first time that they truly become Ouroboros, putting their pasts behind them in service of a greater cause. This scene also proves how deeply repulsed both the Keves and Agnus infantry are with their way of life. It took them a single battle to put aside their differences and start working together, albeit briefly before they attempted to return to their respective colonies. How ironic, then, that DJ branding Ouroboros as traitors to the world actually sealed the destruction of Aionios, because it forced the six of them to work together when they would have otherwise returned to being enemies.
That’s a toughie. I’m assuming you’re talking about the Kilika scene. That one has some serious power behind it too. But not sure this one’s really strong
I dont care how many times i see this or hear it, i still tear up its just so damn beautiful how this piece of art didnt win the awards really upsets me. I still occasionally cry thinking about the awards being a complete bust imo.
Disclaimer: DONT PRESS READ MORE BECAUSE WHAT IM SAYING IS SPOILERS. Wow, after playing through the game, this scene feels more impactful. You can see the pain in Mio's eyes since the last person she was a duet with was Miyabi. So when she died saving Mio and Senna, there was alot of pain to continue playing, even with Noah.
No, please not. If anything Xenoblade series has more than worthy proven that this crap isn't needed for a video game to be absolutely stellar. I mean, they FRIGGING EVEN MOVE THEIR FINGERS CORRECTLY TO THE TUNE PLAYED ON THE FLUTE! THAT'S the level of detail and dedication we want from game devs and NOT how high the resolution can go!!!
Yeah I refuse to play most JRPGs in English because imo the Japanese voice actors just nail the emotion and the comedy a lot better. The English can be so over acted sometimes that it takes away from the heavier scenes.
This cutscene….this was what made me just open my mouth and go wow. Just in awe of the beauty and the feels it gave me.
Same, it was one of the BEST scenes I've seen in a game.

And then there's times where the subtitles go like (stunned breath) but the characters stay expressionless like 😶
You can hear their breaths in the OST!
The detail in this game is incredible.
@arrowknee7356 yeah, only more inportant scenes get animated properly. Most conversations and basic scenes use template animations
literally barely the beginning of the game and I almost cried at this scene, it's beautiful and melancholic at the same time
Even after watching it multiple times, I can only cry and calm my heart when this music plays...

Wish I could play this again for this first time. What an absolutely incredible experience this game was.

So beautiful T^T, this cutscenes is masterpiece.

All the Xenoblade games has great storylines and soundtrack
This music just makes me forget all the hate I feel and remind me how much more there is to life.

what a game, I haven't even finished it yet and know it's truly something to behold, absolutely lives up to series expectations

Yeah, this is a good game
You watch. If this game doesn't AT LEAST get nominated for Game of the Year 2022, fans are going to riot.
This Xenoblade is for the serie what Dragon Quest 3 was to the the DQ serie. Pure masterpiece.
Game of the Year awards is a fucking joke at this point. I highly doubt this game will win many, if any awards due to half the characters not being LGBT community members.

It did got nominated, that's already a win
Didn’t win, but we got Flute Guy to remember the nomination anyway.

Coming back here after finishing everything. I still Cry everytiem 😢
Xenoblade is always a masterclass in music and storytelling.
So peaceful, calming, and beautiful
Got to here one day after my birthday & my mouth just went open and it made me go "Wow. Now that's an epic gamer moment."
Despite Interlinking moments prior, this is the first time that they truly become Ouroboros, putting their pasts behind them in service of a greater cause. I want these damn flutes
I loved the flute scene from pokemon sun and moon, but this easily stomps that, no contest.
one of my fav scene from the game, so much feels
whats better, yuna dancing to send souls off or noah and mio playing this beautiful theme?
Both xD
That’s a toughie. I’m assuming you’re talking about the Kilika scene. That one has some serious power behind it too. But not sure this one’s really strong
It’s close, very close. But I think this one hit me in the feels more.
not sure. I think this scene
@@Drumbum-rw4jr yea, kilika scene, both scenes are impactful, but I think the flute tips the scale
This music just absolutely destroys me inside.
It's so beautiful that I can't avoid crying every single time I hear it.😢

up there with ffx lake scene.....
I was half expecting for there to be "Welcome to...Xenoblade Chronicles 3, flute kahoot"
Goosebumps
1:50 have you got goosebumps yet?
30 hours in and this is the only moment I've ever wished the Switch did 4k HDR with Ray Tracing. Maybe someone will recreate this is UE5?
No, please not.

It can be as pretty as it can get sure but will you remember it so
It's not always the graphics,it's the impact it left you
it's mwambin time
Mwamba 😔

Really can't believe this didn't get the music award...the game awards has become as bad as the emmys...paid popularity.
You should change to Japanese voice instead!
Yeah I refuse to play most JRPGs in English because imo the Japanese voice actors just nail the emotion and the comedy a lot better. The English can be so over acted sometimes that it takes away from the heavier scenes.
I personally feel like the English voice actors did a good job.
