    I realize this video is self-indulgent, self-obsessive, long-winded, and probably going to bore most viewers. Screw it. It's Thanksgiving. No script. No time limit. Raw stuff, but these people are who carry me through, just like all of you. I am thankful.

    You're an amazing guy, Professor. It's rare to find RUclipsrs as honest and wise as you, and I'm so glad others seem to enjoy your content as much as I do! Critical reviews and discussions are so important, and I think this community college is one of the best things to happen to Magic. :)

Not only are you hilarious, but your knowledge and insight into this game has helped to bring many people together through it. I am very thankful for your dedication to this channel & the MTG community, and I am very happy that we have helped you too!

    I'm Italian so I don't really celebrate Thanksgiving, but thank you Prof for the love you put into this community. And in turn thank you to everyone else that puts so much passion into something so seemingly silly like a card game, making it so much more than a pile of pieces of cardboard.
    Thanks for everything, and keep on rockin' :)

    My wife and I found your channel about 2 years ago and we've watched everything you've put out since. We don't play MTG much at all (maybe one or two games a month), but you as a teacher of the game make it more than worth our while to watch your videos and streams.
    We both wish you the absolute best and have confidence that your passion for the game and your skill as an educator will carry your channel to much greater heights.

    I’m thankful that you are THE RUclips Channel that got me into Magic two years ago. You have been THE RUclips channel who’s content and work effort has kept me in loop of MtG and all its products. And behind that you gave me the courage that I knew what I was doing when I sat down to play my first draft two years ago. Thank you, Professor.

    Hey Professor. I do this on Thanksgiving as well. Tell people why I'm thankful for them. Not enough people do. I started watching you long before I started playing magic. Just wanted to thank you for being your best self and really showing us what the best of this community is. Thanks for talking to us today. Your videos are amazing and I'm sure there are a few other nonplayers turned player here as well. Stay awesome and have a great thanksgiving. :)

    Im thankful for when your videos helped me through a really tough year in my life where things just not going right, now everything is getting back on track but you sure helped. You were the first mtg youtuber I started watching when I got back into the game 2 years ago and I became enamoured by the sheer joy in your videos that really brightened some really dark days. From you I discovered Wedge and the other content creators and realized the power of a plataform such as youtube to let the everyman make content about what they love and let like minded people find it. Il forever be grateful.
    Lots of love from Mexico.

    Hi Professor, i've been wanting to tell you something for a long time and i feel like today is the right time to do so.
    I wanted to thank you for caring so much about this community and its members, this video showed once again to me and many other players what we already knew: everything that you do you do it to make this awesome community stronger. Although we never met and i just recently started playing magic, I feel like I belong in this amazing group of people that you worked so hard to put together, and for that i'm grateful, thank you professor!

    Hey Prof. I definitely need to include you on my list of things to be thankful for this year. I have had a rough few years and your videos have been a light shining in the darkness for me since I discovered your channel. Your video during which you discussed your own problems with depression really affected me. To see that someone with your talent, charisma and frankly, bravery could be dealing with similar issues and persevering and thriving despite them. That video gave me the courage to speak to my therapist and doctor about antidepressants for the first time, and since I began taking them I have taken strides forward in my life for the first time since I can remember. I hope that one day when I finally get it together, I can more appropriately thank you for your inspiration by becoming a patron and helping to ensure your videos continue and hopefully reach more people the way you did me. Thank you for being you.

    I remember first hearing about Magic in middle school. Then towards the end of high school, I searched it up on RUclips and your video, How to Start Playing Magic: The Gathering, showed up. After watching it, I remember going out to my local gamestore and asking for a starter deck, and having some local Magic players teach me how to play. Since then, I've started a small group that meets up every Friday to play magic and we're still gaining more people that want to learn. I'm always watching the videos you put out, and I will forever be thankful for you and the time you spend on them Professor. Thank you.

    You aways say to us leave a comment, I you try this time.
    I discovered TCC just a few months ago. I simply love it. I watch every new video a watched most of old videos haha. TCC took me back to magic after a long time not playing it.
    And there is another thing that I would like to say. I'm Brazilian and beside of learning more about magic and magic products, I use TCC to learn english. I'm not good in english (probably this text is already full of english errors) but the way you speak is so clean and nice that I love to hear you to get better at english listening.
    I don't know if i'am the only one that do it, but I would like to let you know that you help me with this too.
    Love the content, love the videos, love TCC.
    Hugs from Brazil, professor! :)

    See, UnsleevedMedia? This is how you do a 'talk-up' video, even though the focus was mostly on himself (The Professor) he still gave thanks to the important and great people that got him to make content on RUclips and knew where the focus of his unscripted spiel was going (if you want to call it a spiel). Its so bewildering how drastic the quality put into those 2 unscripted, but planned videos is. If you are wondering what those videos I'm referring to are, it is this one (obviously) and "Busted, The Professor--". It takes UnsleevedMedia 7 minutes of durdleing and pointless rambling to start getting to his "point". In the same amount of time (14 minutes) The Professor has provided more information in the first 15 seconds than what was said during that 14 minutes excuse that you can't admit was clickbait.
    I know, I shouldn't be venting about another MTG youtuber here, ANY youtuber for that matter. But I am thankful for The Professor and for the top quality content he slaves over, instead of a person that thinks I'm an idiot and puts out what is unanimously considered to be garbage to become "The biggest MTG RUclips channel" instead of trying to help the community grow.

    I only own 5 magic cards that I got at a yard sale for 25 cents. My freinds let me borrow a deck when we stay after school to duel. I’m pretty new at magic, I absolutely love this game but I’m too shy. I love your channel, and the smile you have every time you make a video😁

    • @force_of_skill8052
      @force_of_skill8052 7 лет назад +1

      Daniel Romero I at times get anxiety going to a card shop if I don't know anyone, but that goes away when you see the people that are there are just like you. But also maybe consider playing MTGO that way you can play anytime and will ne less nervous.

    • @danielromero7024
      @danielromero7024 7 лет назад +1

      Force_of_Skill I really want to do things like go to card shops but I have a sweating problem(hyperhydrosis) whenever I get nervous I sweat everywhere!!! And I mean everywhere... my face gets sweaty and it’s embarrassing... I really love talking and interacting with people but ever since my sweating problem started. I can’t talk like I used to. Fortunately I have freinds that I don’t get nervous around and I can enjoy the game with them😁

    • @force_of_skill8052
      @force_of_skill8052 7 лет назад

      Daniel Romero I can understand that bud. But look at it this way it's kinda like starting a new school year and you don't know anybody, it will be nerve racking the first few times but then you meet people and things get easier. Also the MTG community comes in all different forms of people, and those same people at the card shop are there for the same reason as you the love of MTG.

I enjoy TCC for the great guides you have posted and just how you go about showing off what a product is and how good it is. I still love the 5color mana base and other vids. I want to say, on this day of giving thanks, that I am thankful for you and your channel, Professor. I've been playing Magic for about four years now and no one outside of my local playgroup has been more influential, insightful or impactful to my growth as a Magic the Gathering player then you. When I started playing, none of my friends were very experienced and didn't have much to teach me beyond the mechanics of the game itself. You have brought clarity, focus and direction to every aspect of my game. Your videos have been a beacon of truth and knowledge, guiding me to become a better, more critically thinking player. You have helped me avoid the blunders of new and old players alike, directed me in my financial decisions regarding the game, and have been profoundly helpful, honest, sincere and just downright awesome. Without your videos, I would not be the player I am today, I would not have the knowledge I do and I would not have the same appreciation for the game. You truly are and inspiration, a scholar and a gentlemen and I hope to continue enjoying your work for years to come. Also, you're pretty much the most famous I've met. I've never met a celebrity or other RUclips stars and getting to meet you, shake your hand and have a small discussion at GP Vegas last year was something I won't soon forget. You are the man, Prof. Keep up the good work and have a very happy Thanksgiving.

    I appreciate what you do, and how you do it. While you haven’t been a huge influence on me, your videos have filled many a boring hour, and made me think on more then one occasion.
    Thank you for what you do, and best of luck in the future!

    Who you become is so defined by the people around you.
    That doesn't make you a phony ... we all do it.
    I appreciate all you do Prof. Thank you. you've really helped me make better purchases regarding MTG and accessories.

    Thank you for your commitment to putting out such great content. since finding your channel a few months ago after a serious nostalgia itch lead me your way, I have watched almost every day. I don't even play the game anymore but hearing you speak on different topics during the work day or when I get home is such a great gift. I'm I'm thankful for every video. So thanks!

    I want to say thank you professor for what you do. I'm thankful for having people like you to help the community. I started to play back in 1994 and there wasn't much of people that helped other out. So for you to help and show the community what's good and bad in your opinion is good to me. Thanks again and have a great Thanksgiving.

    I like the professor persona. He sounds and acts like he knows what he is talking about; and he talks about having fun (which a lot of other people RUclipsrs seem to forget).

    Long time sub Prof, your vids have always had heart to them and I am thankful for you and them. I have a friend who doesn't even play magic but still quotes you saying " Dredge in our schools!??" Keep it up, you were a big reason me and so many others really got into this game and a whole new part of life!

    Thank you so much, Professor! You were the first magic content creator that I started following, and my door of entry into the wider community. I was reluctant in starting to watch content and become more involved with the game in general, but your videos slowly but surely pulled me in. Tbh at first it was the jingle - it felt really cozy! And it feels doubly so now. Thank you for actually contributing to make magic a bigger thing for players on all levels, even casuals like me. Going through a bit of a rough patch atm since the person I started and shared the mtg-wonder with is no longer with me, but your videos and those of the people you mentioned in this one make MtG feel like something I can still connect with instead of just a painful reminder of happier days.
    So thank YOU!

    I have been playing magic for one year as of today. I found this channel shortly after, while learning about sleeves, boxes and playmats. I fell in love with the channel as I did the game. We love you Professor (Brian)

    I can't say who's better than who, between Wedge and Prof. They are my absolute favorites. They have helped me so much in Magic. Dev from SBMtG, too. Love that guy. Wedge is phenomenal. Prof is phenomenal. I hope you guys find more perseverance in your lives and careers. You are definitely very much loved and appreciated amongst this community. I look forward to my future as a player, not only because I fucking love this game, but because of how we're brought further together by you, Magic Tubers. I'm so thankful, guys.

    Thank you, Prof. for teaching me so much about the fundamentals, and groundworks of MTG! You have helped shape my abilities as a deck builder and influenced me as a player/politicer on game knights. You have brought me a lot of knowledge and joy over the past year. Booster boxes are for drafting!

    Hello Professor, I just wanted to take the time to say thank you. When I was a kid, my brothers and I would play Magic the Gathering. In fact, our cousins did, our friends did. We all played together. Most of us quit a long time ago and I never really looked back. I enjoy watching your videos even though I don't play anymore. But recently I had decided to buy some battle decks from Card Kingdom in hopes of playing some casual magic with my brothers this Christmas. All thanks to you. I can't wait. Thank you!

    I built my first Commander deck with the help of YOUR videos Professor. I've gained confidence in myself through building it. I've fought depression through building the deck. While not super competitive I still treat it as if it were worth a million dollars. I still watch your videos to learn of new ways to improve my deck. Heck I want to try different formats.

      Professor I am thankful for your creation of this channel. While being a newer viewer I am still grateful that it exists. That you do commander videos, Modern, reviews for sleeves, binders, deck boxes, and all the various stuff. You're awesome. I am thankful for this channel and I am thankful that you profess it.

    Thank you for starting this channel and sticking with it. Thank you for introducing me to other MTG channels which have helped me better understand the game. Thank you and them for helping me take the first step into playing against other people rather than just the computer (all the Stainless games and Xmage) and going 3-1 in my first pre-release 2 months ago.
    Thank you for the reviews. While it's ultimately my decision to purchase something or not, your input on a product is always valuable.
    Thank you for helping me be part of MTG.

    I wouldn't be back to playing without your channel. It's given me a connection to playing again. Having content to view on a regular basis, helping me feel comfortable enough to actually go to an LGS event, play and it's brought my wife and son into playing as well. I'm thankful for having content like this available to us. It's helped bring my family closer and we've met a lot of great people at our LGS. Instead of me buying some cards, making a few decks and selling everything off like I've done multiple times since 1993, I feel like this time is different. So thank you for that, for what you do and what you give us as viewers!

    I know you may not read this, but I've been watching your videos ever sense the start and Professor I truly want to say thank you so much for what you do for this community! You have been such an insperation for me and many others who watch your videos. Especially for the gaming club at my school with reccommending nothing but the best magic deck boxs and sleeves. I always point them to your channel. You even inspired me to try out doing magic videos in the community sometime in the future. I wish you nothing, but the best professore! Keep doing what you are doing and happy thanksgiving!

    Beautifully said brother. There are alot of people in the community that look up to you, and even in my small shopping center, the one guy that plays magic the gathering, LOVES your videos, and uses alot of them for reference and entertainment. You can be self-indulgent, but just know, you made it. You're a wonderful person, doing amazing things, and getting to live your dream, at least for now. I'm thankful, and I believe that thankfulness is shared through alot of people that watch your videos, for the content you push out, and have produced, as well as just getting to see you, when we open our browsers. We get to learn, laugh and love what you show and share with us, and you do so well, and enjoy yourself.
    Always know that you're loved, and we are honoured to share this youtube community forum with you!
    Many thanks, and much love, Professor.
