There were 4 matches on the card and 1 was a women's match. That's 25% of the card. That's fine. People just complaining for the sake of it now.
15:06 There were two women’s matches just LAST WEEK on Dynamite. And there were promo segments too. Knowledge of the product should be a key component of complaining about the product.
Yeah , people foregt that its a 2 hour show , not 3 hours , smackdown also has more limited womens segments

No, it should be a singles match. Swerve should go over on a 1v1 against Danielson at the main event of All In.

The way to do the wembley main event is hangman getting the win over swerve at blood and guts and insert hangman into the main event. Then danielson wins by hangman focusing on swerve
For me it boils down to: you can do Page/Strickland at the next show. You MUST do Strickland/Danielson NOW, and that is, like so many matches that involve Danielson, a DREAM MATCH.

The Hangman situation is a lot like the Chad Gable situation earlier in the year, chad had way more reason to have the match with Gunther, but no one was going to complain the Sami Zayn was having a Mania title match
I think this is a good comparison. At the end they're both great options, just a matter of preference.

From where it stands as of now, Danielson wins at Wimbley. Danielson will say he's pushing back his retirement until he loses the belt and he's going to defend it maybe at All Out and several times on TV between All In and Wrestle Dream. Hangman and Swerve have a match at All Out. Hangman gets his win finally. Then during the build to Wrestle Dream, which is in Tacoma, Washington, Swerve earns a title shot at Danielson and wins the title back. Swerve and Danielson have a match in their home state against each other, Danielson retires from full time and Hangman gets his win, without having to win the title.
I am still waiting for someone to explain how you can turn heel by turning against a heel. Toni Storm WAS NOT a babyface. Have people had their minds so altered by AEW's awful booking that they no longer understand what a heel turn is?
They blew their big storylines on all in last year and all out suffered.
You can have Danielsons career as all in story and swerve hanger as all out story
To Tempest point about Hangman or Danielson vs Swerve at Wembley.
I actually think AEW is telling a more interesting story by having Danielson go over Hangman.
Hangman doesn't really care about the title...he hates Swerve, and the tournament was his way to get at Swerve.
Swerve entered himself in the Blood and Guts so Hangman agrees to team with The Elite as a way to get at Swerve.
Now the story can branch in 2 different directions:
1) Hangman wins the Blood and Guts match for The Elite and as a reward The Bucks add Hangman to the title match at Wembley.
Then Hangman can cost Swerve the title. That way you get Danielson winning the title, and you continue the Swerve/Hangman story, and Swerve could win the title back at WrestleDream in his hometown
2) Hangman's hatred for Swerve causes The Elite to lose. The Elite turn on Hangman and you set up for Hangman vs Okada for Wembley

I disagree with your take on logical story telling you can do logical story telling that’s hard to tell how it is going to go because there are multiple viable contenders.

In regards to the one women’s match superchat, I’d say the quality is MUCH better than the quantity in this instance. One killer match and two great segments are better in my opinion than one killer match and another one thrown in. A five minute segment is way more effective than a five minute squash

Firm disagreement with Tempest. I think the best option was Danielson winning. 1) I didn't need another Hangman vs Swerve match so soon. 2) Danielson winning the title would do the lineage of that title a world of good. 3) You can make Hangman MORE interesting now. Have him cost Swerve at All In and that leads to them having a match at All Out for #1 contender that Swerve wins AGAIN. Swerve wins the title back at WrestleDream in his hometown and then Page wins the title at World's End a few months later.
Luke is wrong, Jericho isn't as much of a rating draw as he's saying. He had bad ratings multiple times in the last two months and many of his good performances are when he is in the same quarter as a hot act, notably Toni Storm, or when he's in either the 1st or the 5th quarter which are always doing well, Jericho or no Jericho.
I'm just saying the turn makes sense Toni beat up her girlfriend at forbidden door. Also, I really want to see this match main event All In now.

I spent too much money on tickets for all in and then watched the product the last few months and kind of regret my decision. How do you guys trick yourself into thinking the current state of aew is good?
I assumed Danielson was winning since he was announced for the tournament. Quite surprised it would even remotely be considered a swerve.

"Danielson's need for a last title run hasn't felt as important for the rest of last year" I don't think so, there's people who can't stop thinking about it since he announced the retirement, with all due respect for the best feud of last year (hang v swrv) but not the best story

I was that into hangman winning and seeing swerve hangman 3 live in person. when Daniel won. my reaction was "oh FFS I guess ALL IN 2 is going to be just another F'in house show" ........................ and then I remembered just who TF Daniel is. and then got hyped anyway 🤣🤣🤣

Loved the episode but probably not getting mjf vs ospreay and hangman vs swerve at all in did give me sour feeling.
Hangman will be involved in the Swerve/Danielson match for sure! Special Guest Referee (w/ Stipulation as Punishment - Fired if he doesnt call it fairly because of Costing The Elite at Blood and Guts (ignores team to go after Swerve) Hangman/Nigel McGuiness accidently costs Swerve the Title (chair shot misses Danielson hits Swerve) and Hangman has to call the 1-2-3 (in frustration) and leads into a Triple Threat/Fatal Four Way at All Out. Leads into Hangman Vs Swerve (Full Gear) and Danielson Vs Mc Guiness Singles Match (Wrestle Dream) - Fantasy Booking =)
I was completely shocked with how much blood there was. Her face was cover in a thick layer of blood. It was extremely surprising

Just bc you your mates and a bunch of people on twitter don’t like them? Same thing with the Jericho stuff people react to him live and he gets the highest rated segments week to week but you don’t like him so he’s not over lol
I'm increasingly stayin off the comment sections on the net and just enjoy the show for myself. I'm fortunate as well cos I've got a mate who's even more into wrestling than me so i can have proper discussions with him.
yeah, their very specific hate for the acclaimed is so jarring. I understand not liking something (Oli was quite clear he did not personally like Timeless Toni in the beginning), but conflating that to NOBODY likes this is annoying. I would love to see Bowens in Blood and Guts and maybe Max can climb inside the cage for a big Mic Drop.

Hangman beats Swerve at blood and guts, Swerve beats Danielson at ALL IN. Swerve vs Hangman at ALL OUT because of blood and guts.
Page is probably joining Blood and Guts for the prize of joining the Wembley Match.
Hangman vs Swerve would've been amazing at All In but for the revenge angle Hangman getting access to Swerve in a match with no rules makes a ton of sense.

The Elite takeover angle has been Masterclass. Truly this generations NWO. I really feel like Tony is going to loose control at this rate! Swerve and hangman are gonna wrestle at All Out , no title , they want Hangman to win the next Swerve match so the title cant be involved since nobody want Hangman as champ
I find Tempest's negativity towards the Danielson win quite stubborn tbh. He expected the storyline to go one way and doesn't like it just because another equally intriguing but less predictable option was taken. Good storytelling shouldn't always be predictable, else you risk losing your audience which feels like it can see exactly where all stories are going, which is the last thing AEW needs at the moment. Also, predictability isn't always good, case in point: MiTB and NXT Heatwave where the latter was remarkably better BECAUSE of how fresh the booking choices made were.
This is what makes wrestling tricky but fantasy booking is fun but counterproductive in some ways because people focus so much on what they think should happen over just letting things play out.
Not really. It's just his opinion. He still said the match is gonna be great, just that SwerveVHangman had more going into it. It's just a thing a preferring one thing over the other.
There was no "heel turn" here. Toni Storm and Mariah May have been heels this entire time.

To the chat on great women’s angles recently across any promotion- the Bayley moment where she spoke Japanese to Damage Ctrl was probably the closest “oh damn!” moment in their build to mania after months of teasing them pushing her out but that’s welllll below this
Leave it to Luke to just try and blame WWE when the only parties to blame are Rush and CMLL. CMLL doesn't lock their talent down and allows them to be signed right off their roster if they receive a bigger pay day. I won't even get into the Rush stuff, that's it's own thing but is literally why Rush v MJF was done on Dynamite and not at Forbidden Door.
While I see what you're trying to say I don't see how see couldn't finish the dates and still go to WWE after.
@@fscorpion678 I agree with your reasoning and point, but WWE doesn't have a working relationship with any of those companies. Stephanie is now a WWE superstar so her working those dates with "rival" promotions isn't happening. Giulia on the other hand is finishing out dates in Japan with other promotions while being a WWE superstar because those companies don't have ties to AEW.
My point is whatever, it's just how I see things. Also WWE is doing live events in Mexico this weekend and I'll bet any money that's when they're going to debut her and then she'll be on NXT this upcoming Tuesday. So while she should, could, or would, do the obligated dates, they won't work since she'll be in WWE immediately.
@@anthonyolivares6935 It's still pretty unprecedented because even during the Vince Era talent were allowed and encouraged to finished their obligated dates. So this is actually an outlier to prior practices.
@@fscorpion678 like I said before, I agree. It's clear to me that WWE has a live event in Mexico of all places on 7/13 which is the same date as the CMLL show in San Jose. They're going to debut there, or at least I would. Obviously she can't do both, and since she just signed it's pretty evident that it doesn't matter to her (or WWE, however you want to spin it) that those events don't occur for her.
It's honestly a perfect storm in timing for her and WWE which is why it's an outlier. If WWE wasn't going to be in Mexico, who is to say they wouldn't have let her do her events? (She was going to lose the CMLL women's title on 7/13)
When I saw the graphic for mjf vs ospreay I thought: how stupid. Why don't they keep it for all in? That match has written dq all over because they wouldn't wanna pin either of them. I hope that something changes because they really shouldn't have the match at dynamite.
Well there’s been rumors that AEW was doing a PPV caliber match on Dynamite coming up and I’m assuming this is the match they are rumoring. But I have the same thought Idk how they will spin it.

@@GRUHHHH1006 Years of wrestling-free TV where Raw and Smackdown only existed to promote the next PPV. People accepted that this is the way to book your show.
Tempest i believe that promo you're talking about was on this past Collision.
What we have to remember is that they have All Out two weeks after Wembley. They have to hold some matches back so that the show has a reason to exist. If Swerve loses the belt at Wembley or wins, he can still fight Hangman at All Out.
Funny how despite how much Tony hates his women's division, the women are the only interesting thing going for them right now. Hope they can start giving women more segment time and match time like the WWE does

I thought the Jericho forklift stuff was awful. That would not hurt at all to go through.
The turn was perfect, and with Mariah's slow progression through the Toni Storm looks during her run so far, I wonder if now, just before All in, like last year is when Mariah goes full on proto timeless like we got last year. I think there is a compelling character in Mariah wanting to get rid of Toni and playing nice this whole time but I would be lying if I didn't think Mariah wanting to replace her sounds very interesting.
No ones going to see this, but Jacey Jane’s heel turn on Gigi Dolin broke my heart more than Mariah May turning on Toni Storm. They just seemed like genuine sisters, and Jacey shoot stomping Gigi Dolin through a door.

Osprey just can't cut a promo. He either selfowns like how he inadvertently said he can't last in bed. Or he just says nonsense like how MJF didn't win the bidding war because Tony chose to pay for people like Osprey who actually elevate the show. Which makes no sense because 1. The ratings are Down and 2. MJF is still there so clearly he did get his pay raise(unless he wants to insinuate that the WWE didn't even make a bid so Tony got him for cheap which would also be bad).

Osprey, Okada, and Mone, these are supposed to be the Big Game changers and yet they have lost tv ratings an even their segments on RUclips don't do particularly well. Instead it's Toni and Mariah who people have latched onto once again proving that Storytelling is what sells the product. Hopefully Tony sees this and we can move away from booking for the sickos and instead get back to booking for pro wrestling fans.

And all of them have had their moments depending on what they’re doing. Toni and Mariah has been going on for 9 months and this was the big payoff, off course that video would have the most views

As a paying customer, I'm very happy Bryan Danielson is in the main storyline for All In. He's had a phenomenal year, hell a phenomenal run since 2021, he deserves this spot. Hangman/Swerve was good but we've already seen it what, 2 times? 3 times? I feared they would waste Bryan on an undercard match with Nigel, thank god they didn't. I also like the added hurdle for Hangman, it'd be boring if he just came back and did the predictable thing, life isn't like that
