This isn't a sad story. But he's the first preemie ( under my watch ) we have in Monkey Hill and let's revisit his story from the very beginning in April last year !
I love Dolly more and more every year 💕. She's such a lovely mommy and has a sweet personality it seems. And of course her wild hair and distinctive look and massive appetite lol...never misses a meal or chance for quick snack. Love to Dolly!! 😘😘😘💕

All babies 2 or 4 footed from the extra small to the extra-large are all cute and fun to watch as they explore and learn about the world around them with loving Mum to watch and teach them all that she can.
Pucky may have had a slow start, but he is as cute as can be! His mom is a good one too. She held him close & kept him safe, until she was sure he was okay.
Arroz suspected that dopey was also a preemie as his motor skills were so delayed. Both Pucky and Dopey were blessed with awesome mothers. Pucky handled his combat with a twig better than Dopey. Anyone who has not seen the Wonder Years series from Episode 1 should do so. I watched about 90 episodes within a week as they are so addictive..
I know this is a happy story but that music gets to me every time and yes Dolly played a big part in making sure her little one made it she is a very good mom and he is so adorable thanks ❤
Pucky looks so comfy when he snuggles into Dolly’s warm fur. His respirations were so fast I didn’t expect him to make it, but he did. Dolly is an excellent mom. No one but Dolly could have helped him thrive and grow.
I would say Reddy would have saved him..both top in being a fabulous mommy and putting their baby before everything ..including food as Dolly did..she wrapped him in that big fur coat of hers against the wind and rain and held him in her arms. I bet he was toasty warm !!

Pucky really was a precious little mite. It doesn't surprise me he had such a nice fluffy coat. Just look at Dolly's nice thick coat and you'll see he just takes after his mum. It looks like parts of this video may not have been published before. I don't remember quite this much being shown of Pucky at the time.
God gave Pucky to the right mum in Dolly. She kept him warn, dry, fed and loved..and Dolly does boys, she let him explore. I never will forget him climbing on the low bush branches for about 20.minutes flipping somersaults. Pucky was the cutest bsby that year. He learned to hsng on and Dolly did the rest.
Perfect way to wean..no need to get nasty just block him with your arm..oh Dolly..wonderful momma has it off to a fine art..Pucky only needs to eye up the teat and there goes the arm..and oh my our Dolly has the best coat ever..and it was needed the day he was born to keep him warm and shielded from the rain..🇬🇧💞🙈🙉🙊🐒🐵🥰👍👏🙏🙏

What if Gypsy had been his mom? Or Nora? Dolly kept him warm, dry, fairly clean, well protected and well fed. It was apparent Dolly knew from the start he was a preemie.
I’m only 8 minutes in so far but, how premature do you think Pucky was? Dolly, how amazing, caring for her newborn preemie over food! ☺️🥰 Our Gods, any one of the many that you may believe in, only put into your hands what he/she KNOWS you can handle, no matter the difficulty. I believe the same holds true for our amazing animals of the world! He knew Dolly could handle Pucky and all his cuteness, trials, and tribulations!
Maybe it is from me watching so many puppies. Starting at 3 weeks watching for signs that they are pet or show quality. (Pet quality puppies can be sold between 8 weeks and 12 weeks old depending on there breed. Where as show prospect puppies may have to be held till 8 months to a year to make that determination) I could see from his profile when he started to leave mom to start investigating his surroundings a little bit, that he was most likely going to be at least a bit undershot if not more so as he grew. Around 17:10 ish while he is playing by himself before Molly comes in to the video I can surely see that he looks under shot. Not grossly but if he was a show prospects puppy and I saw that profile I would surely not pick him unless he was a shih tzu.

Not every baby comes out doing the same as others, the baby was fine here even holding onto mom just fine and the baby breathing like that doesn't mean anything is wrong seen many look like they are breathing quickly especially newborns, but pucky was ok maybe he was born a little early it didn't seem like anything was wrong with him and plus it was down pouring rain in the video when you first seen him of course he's cuddled up against mom keeping warm, there have been many mom's to take care of their baby when things didn't look right to us dolly wouldn't be the only monkey mom to take care of a premature or something wrong baby they kick into a different way when they feel something is wrong young or old mom's both even first time moms
LOL all newborns have little wrinkly faces. He may have been a week or two pre mature but was nothing ever to worry about, he has a good mom and he didn't seem lethargic at all. You really are making a mountain out of a molehill. lol
We noticed a long time ago that Pucky didn't have his front teeth. One viewer even posted a comment about it and I recall you assuring us that he was fine and his teeth were not missing. ? What did I miss? I thought it was very obvious for a while now.

I just finished part 2 and was going to delete my comment since Arroz addressed this. I didn't want to offend him. As usual you are right Arroz..if lil Pucky had a less loving and caring mom he might not have survived..its a shame she has moved down the ranking thus yr by just having another boy..she along with Reddy are two of the best moms out there..he was so very small and look at his head size to his body and the lungs like human babies are the last to develop hence the quick breathing..look at Pucky now..only through mommas love and care..poor Dolly has mostly boys so as they leave she doesn't have such a big family around her I hope if she has a baby next year its a girl..💞🇬🇧🙉🙊🙈🐒🐵🥰👍👏👏🙏
When watching the Viet Nam and Cambodian videos, why do they have so many issues identifying gender? They call girls he and boys her consistently. Do those languages not have gender pronouns? That might explain the issue.

That's exactly what I always thought, too. Dopey was very tiny and it took a long time for him to develop his motor skills.
