Marx is the only male artist in history to have his first seven singles reach Billboard's top five. He scored 14 number one hits as singer and producer. This love song, which he wrote for Streisand, was an instant hit.
What a singer and song writer Richard Marx is.... 'Hazard' is another amazing song by him that you should check out.. He also wrote 'This I Promise You' for NSYNC 👍
This was the very first song I remember listening to as it was released the year I was born (1989). It was a hit and was one of my mom’s favorite songs. Therefore when I grew older I learned to play this song on the piano as Marx does.
this was back still when you can open up to women and not be called soft or insecure (not all women, but the majority of them you can't be this open) A small percent of women now you can do this for - very small percent. The majority would call you sof or insecure. Love this song - endless summer lights is a great song too

This beautiful song won a Grammy for best song of 1989 , and the album, Repeat Offender won album of the year. Not a bad song on the album.
He wrote this song for his wife at the time, Cynthia Rhodes.
Richard rocks
That's my idol👍
Richard Marx is Awesome!
He’s got many hits!!!!
Nice vibes
Great song! Monica covered this song and it’s been in movie soundtracks that’s probably why it sounded familiar.
The song was written for his wife.
His song Endless Summer Nights is another ballad. You'll love it
If you were old enough. I would say you may have heard it at a wedding reception. It was real popular at those and high school proms.
This was played in Tyler Perry's movie 🎬 (Good Deeds), last scene. Perfect music for that ending scene.

By the way singer Monica did a cover of Right Here Waiting.

Monica covered this song. Maybe that’s where you’ve heard it.
Please react to my new super fire mixtape "Fundamental". I promise you it won't disappoint but if it does, be sure to be critical
