I’ve also caught bass, tuna, salmon and trout! I was born into fishing because of my fathers love of fishing! Thank God! Can’t wait to fish again, one day.
Love watching you fish! I love catfish! Have caught garr, snakes, and even ate some frog legs! But I’m an old lady now, and would be fishing still, if my husband didn’t have a stroke in 2019. And I’m a Cali girl! But my Dad was born and raised in Mississippi, and I still have family in Louisiana! 🥰🥰🥰 Love your show! Thank you!
I went on a ridge trip down there but always heard about big Mike’s and Blake’s amazing ridge trips. Those are some good dudes and I’m sure there were a lot of shenanigans taking place when the sun went down.
This looks awesome it’s great to be with a bunch of guys like that. I just went on an annual trip to Joshua Tree with 50+ guys to a friends property with an 80 year old adobe house and an incredible outdoor kitchen. He built a full size movie screen with stage and we watched movies, live music, shooting guns and lots of great food. Two guys flew their planes out and gave people rides over the park.
Great awesome video my good friend 👍. Ain't nothing like a good fish camp my brother 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸👍👍👍 Happy Memorial Day to ya and all of our fallen heros. Appreciate y'all 🏁🏁🏁
I've never done pickle marinated catfish but I will try it. because I marinate my fried deer meat in pickle juice & we live it. especially my kids. I also marinate my fried cube steak in pickle juice.
Jared, yes I've heard of marinating fish before frying them. "Clauson," is what I've seen most. It was on Derrmeatfordinner, Blue Gage and on Brook Crist Outdoors.
Personally, I did not think it was necessary. I like the taste of fried catfish and I typically dip in ketchup. It wasn't bad or anything, just a little extra when it's already good.
Jared good video as usual. Wish u would’ve got our hunt the evening before. I worked my butt off in that spot lol. I was so mad I couldn’t get u any good footage that following morning. But literally no water equals no ducks. Next trip will be better prepared. Had fun and let’s make a hunt soon.
I used to work at chic fil a when I was in high school. That was the secret. All the grilled chicken was marinated in pickle juice. I did it with some crappie and bluegill a few weeks ago, not bad but it didn’t need it.
YEP!!!! I soak my catfish in pickle juice or Frank's Redhot for 30 minutes or so. It will change the minds of those people who say I won't eat catfish because it's too "Fishy" tasting.
Throw out by the cleaning station....... hang on. Then had to the pass, smash some bass, flounder, reds . Oh the trailer.....done that in the tunnel.....
If you’re going to marinate in pickle juice you need to do it overnight. It acts like a brine and brings and makes it juicy. 10 minutes won’t do anything.

@@OutsidetheLevees Pass A Loutte is one of the better places in Venice for ducks. I heard from a friend that he didn't see many birds during a scouting trip after opening weekend. We've been doing really good on Delta, until today. We believe that all the pressure before and during Thanksgiving week pushed the birds out of the area
Yeah they had birds on Delta that week too but I can’t film there without a permit. It was a quick trip due to trailer breaking. I’m sure we’d have found something eventually with more days
@@OutsidetheLevees Delta has a lot of restrictions, which is what makes it good for hunting waterfowl. I've never read anything about not being able to shoot video out there.
Man I don’t think there’s another video that’s ever been made that demonstrates South Louisiana quite like this.. Great job brother 🤘🏼
Thass our people.

Hell yeah my man. Get down there

Those are some good times.
Appreciate you brother

Thanks I will have to check it out
This reminds me of the duck clubs in the Sacramento delta.
I can’t wait to hunt out there one day
Great video! But never heard if the pickle juice marinade was any good? Curious to try it maybe
Dang. I forgot to give the update. It was ok but didn’t think it was necessary
Awesome video! I'm gonna have to try that pickled marinated catfish! How was it?

Love you for that brother. I really do appreciate you trying.
Great video! Keep the content coming!
Love you bro
Brother Jerry! My man LOL. I've heard of pickle marinated chicken (chickfila). Could not believe the size of those redfish!
My man! Got you some cooking in this one too!

Pickle marinated catfish sounds good! Let us know how it was!
I didn’t really
Like it
Very important to keep up with maintenance.
Very true. Thanks for watching
thank you
You got it!
How can I find that campground I don't have a boat though I just need some places to catch some cats
“new Subscriber: Now that’s Fishing!”
Amen to that. Good way to put em in the boat.
Is that private land or public land y'all camping on?
Public. Pass a Loutre WMA
How do you not let us know what that pickle marinated catfish tastes like? Great video man.
Man I totally whiffed on that. Sorry. It wasn’t that good to be honest
Love to watch you
Thank you!

Can’t wait to go back
I've seen other you tubers do pickle marinated fish. They said it cuts down the fishy flavor
I really didn't like it to be honest. Just seemed uneccesary.
In Florida they do that
Really? I’d like to see it
Like your videos
Thanks bro

It was plenty long enough for pickle flavor. I wasn't a fan though.
I bet them Louisiana boys dont throw them reds back when the cameras aint rollin lol
Bruh 😂
👍
Thank you

Unforstunately so
Where were yall at? Pass Aloute? When did yall shoot this video. I hunt Venice and it has been tough, we have been seeing more than 10 ducks.
Pass a Loutre. Last week.
