sadly this gum tree had to get cut down, had some desease and kept falling apart. But you can see the forest in the background lots of healthy tree's around for them.
Animals always behave a bit different in the wild. Koalas are not overly scared of people though and will just slowly climb up the tree if they want some peace

It's the noses. They're very small compared to most koalas. Adult noses are so much bigger generally than this mother's. Babies have smaller noses so that's why they are more appealing. The genes in this family should be preserved. I think Disney would be interested. At any rate amazing that they posed for so long. I think the click of the camera may have mesmerized them.
