JOE IS NO JOKE,since Larry Levan,David Mancuso, Tee Scott, a lot of the great dj’s are gone now, joe holding the torch an Louie Vega,David Morales. Can’t forget Tony Humphries,Kenny Carpenter, thanks for the memories. Shout out dj Punch, jersey dj Beloved,
To all the people saying Joe messes with the ISO too much.... You're right but after a certain threshold has been crossed......You can't go back. It was a phenomenon that started a little ways back now, i remember when you could not see the DJ's unless you where "UP" in the booth them ( booths used to be hi up) and the DJ's would be dancing with us on the floor but in the booth LOL, but on ISO play....That was something that happened after 3 or 4 am, like "BRINGING IT HOME"!!!! , but after awhile it became"CHIC" to it all night long, don't know how or exactly when.
Joe definitely comes with the fire tracks, but he does mess with the isolator a bit too much. Sometimes you just gotta let the track ride! Just saying.
I see the snide comments however, when you know how to properly work the isolator it brigs a track alive. A lot of dj's haven't mastered the art of manipulating the isolator. They don't know when to snatch the bass out of the song, how to accentuate the instrumentals on a track. Most of these cats just be knob twiddling like they know what there doing. By way of isolator you could make a not so hot track hot. You have to know when to go in with heavy bass, when to snatch the gutts out, and when to let a track breath, as well as let the highs tingle. I hate to hear a dj play and don't work the isolator it makes his music bland to me.
You would never get bored watching Joe
Joe Claussell is the best. Gives me the chills everytime I listen

I believe that he is setting a new standard for all dj's expression through the Isolator. feeling the music.
True comment below, LARRY LEVAN used to play with the ISO too. But your right in the “ wee” hours he used to rock out with it.
