I'm in tears man! Pure! This is how u play From the Soul! Listening to his expression, u hear the Joy.. The Pain.. The Journey... it just Breathes Life into you! Master player!🙌🏾🔥🎸
Even if you watch upside down it doesn't make sense... I'm a lefty but I have my guitar strung normal with the bass string up top... Eric's is on the bottom.. So all of his fret hand chord shapes and fingering is different... It blows my mind trying to figure it all out, so I stopped trying and I simply just listen now! He's amazing!
Heck yea they do! I just put a Private Jack in my Tone Master Deluxe Reverb... delicious!!! Have a GA-SC64 in my 65 DRRI and a Lil Texas/Tonkerlite in my 66 Bassman 2x12 cab... all sound fabulous!!!
I always thought that because I'm left handed and play my guitar the same way of Gales do (with right handed ones) I would never be good enough e do things that "normal people" do with their gear, 'cause it's a liite bit harder. But knowing Eric make all my escuses go down. I love my "special" way of playing guitar more and more. Thank you Eric, for inspire me again!
This is literally one of only two videos featuring this speaker. It sounds epic even when you can tell that it wants to be pushed. The regular demo with Chris Condon is great, but you only hear it with some pretty heavy saturation in that video. That's not a bad thing. Ceramic speakers don't ever seem to saturate as well as alnico, but I'm so glad I found this video by accident. I think I'm gonna go with this one.
@@HamzaJamzaFamza Thank you a lot for your reply! The situation is, I like a lot your discontinued speakers Screaming Eagle, Tone spotter, Red White & Blues. Are there any up to the day equivalents?
@@georgefromgreece4119 Hey man, I just copied and pasted part of the description from this video. I'm not affiliated with Eminence... sorry for the confusion. I think they still make the RW&B, and maybe they replaced the Tonespotter with the JS-1250 and the Screamin Eagle with the TF-1250... not for sure... I love my Lil Texas! It might not be far off from the sound of a Screamin Eagle! Always wanted to try that one... As for the Tonespotter, it's hard to imagine it being much better than a Private Jack, and I can't help but wonder if it was replaced by the CV-65, the speaker featured in this video! Very similar specs... not exact, though... Rock on!
Try to rip off a lick by just watching. Just sayin'.. that LH stuff drives me insane sometimes. You hear and understand, but then you see it all, everything's right there, and again you can't understand anything he's doing.
Put on x0.5 speed through yt player (If you watch on PC). Then try to concentrate only on one voice (for example bottom or top) while listening multiple times...
Using that sucker quite often, thanks. :) But the chords man! That's what the Gristle is after, too! Watching Gales' lead playing is sometimes very revealing as it's from the right handed player's perspective. But them chords!

Hi Eminence Speaker guys...next time you go to NAMM and want to record Eric Gales, I am volunteering to be your recordist and vow not to record overdriven, distorted, clipped signals
