I bought exactly the same tents thst you have on the strength of your comprehensive review an use of the gear I have the slumit grizzly which is having its first outing for three nights then I got the camo tent two man for me when I'm bushwacking free camping without the wife I also bought my softies as you say they are the business especially when nature calls 2am!! well just wanted to say a big thsnkyou you to you for all the excellent work you do and energy sorting the gear all out top notch thank you

Akasha looks healthy, really as spry as she was in the other video that you made in 2011. Maybe a little more gray in her muzzle, but still a lot of life left in her! Very nice video.
+Stella P. Thanks for your comment. Loss of hearing about 25% so need to raise voice volume or command noises. She near becomes her normal self when outdoors scurrying around all be it sometimes she forgets where I am. If she has no stimulus then she just stares into thin air bless her
been caught in windy conditions on the top of Mt. Cheaha in Alabama on an exposed ridge it was crazy.....I had to use boulders to keep my tent from blowing away...cool video!!!
Hike with Mike Sure got to be careful/expectant of torrential wind conditions on high grounds for sure. The mountain tent I used up Brecon Beacon really holds its own due to it's wind deflecting design so that was a plus & got me through the nights battering winds. All the best best & safe out on the trail.
Have to concur with everyone else that all day breakfast looked good Good to see she's doing well, but don't know about her feeling it with that temp and wind chill everyone would feel it 300 prepper meet nice to see it's getting better Happy trails

+ajb7876 Simply treat it as one would at home, the cooler it remains the less chance of perishability (keep in shade/next to cold water containers/under other food items that can insulate). For me personally unless I'm mixing fresh with tinned e.g. scrambled egg with tinned beans - I keep tinned food in the tin (I'm not concerned with carrying tin weight) for longevity & protection. Vacuum packed for me is convenient to freeze/store, out on the trail it starts to defrost over first 24 hrs, for me I've found bagged meals will last for at least 3 days, longer in cold weather that replicates fridge.

+o'neill's outdoor adventures It's quite novel for sure but in all fairness to the dog they need to be trained so not to get phased out by being outdoors at night plus varied wild life doesn't make them leg after them or get spooked by the odd galloping roe deer or marauding fox. Plus knowing the dog breed as to their habits & how easy they adjust to being outdoors for a few days at a time.
