Ah what a good use for old NBC suit bottoms. Pulling a pair off the shelf in the shop tomorrow to use as my camp/work pants. Good man! Camp looked great. Bet you cursed the misty screen at home though. Solstice regards from Ireland.
They made an extra stove for the gel fuel, but two big candle light containers will also do the trick, if you want to keep using the gel (it's so much better than hexamine or esbit) Merry Christmas!

Corn has loads of energy, the American Indians often used to carry a woven pouch with corn and other edibles. I like the firelighter trick.
