I can already picture when tourneys start back up and commentators saying "guess all those FT10s really paid off!" whenever Fatality is in the lead.
I'm excited for when he stops using dair and usmash constantly in neutral when he starts getting hard punished offline and becomes a good player again

His Palutena looks ok too, but I feel like he should work on his neutral more, specifically his nair convertions. I feel like he didn't get much off of nair strings that often, most of the up air follow ups are wiffed, hence less threatening his neuteal exchange becomes. Also, his nair are mostly used as edge guard tool or to break combo, allowing him to reset neutral more, I feel like he can also use nair as a approaching tool in neutral more often too, forcing opponents to respect your approaches.
He actually has more tourney wins with palu lol
First time Fatility's looked really just annoyed during a FF10, even when he was completely in the lead. Inkling side B nailed him a lot leading to easy no brain smash attack and he just looked annoyed overall and honestly I would be too

I wouldn't say no brain smash attacks coz he needs to set up a way to get the bury considering the side b is a bit slow. Plus it wasn't all the time where fatality got buried and got f smashed. It actually requires thinking to do that to someone let alone fatality's big brain.

Saying side B is slow is absolute bullshit. It comes out instantly (at least when put into the risk/reward spectrum) if you miss true hit, which will lead to stock loss.
It's the most bullshit move in the game. I wouldn't mind buffing pretty much all of Inkling's kit to get side B nerfed, because it's such a cheap ass move. Have you ever felt "ah that was fair - he/she just played better than me" after getting hit by that? Nah.
It's a no skill, no risk, super high reward move that works even at the highest level.
Either hit it with some proper startup frames or some endlag, or it will keep being boring "undeserved wins".
Also, fuck up special. It's strong as it is. Why does it need to have hitboxes on launch and landing? Every other mana dependent character uses mana for up special, like Robin and Hero. Why not Inkling? Because fuck you.
Lots of other characters have damage when doing up air - but long-lasting, heavily punishable landing. Not Inkling, because fuck you.
Chag has such a clean Inkling. Nice.
Im really glad you featured relatively unknown player. Its awesome to see a "new" player among the top level gameplay. Also i finally understand the argument that inkling can be top tier in the right hands. Surprisingly refreshing video, keep it up bro!
Chag’s definitely been around and is one of the top Mexican players. So “unknown” is not how I’d describe him

Chag was a dam good inkling, I think Fatality has little match up exp with it.
Also since (I think)burial counts as a cc/debuff/ailment etc. It would beat out armor period. So Raptor boost is just an easy thrown into jail card.
I still despise it out of everything else in the game. Not the moves like roller, just burial in general.

If you’re good at something you never do it for free, everyone has bills to pay for. I don’t mind the ads as long as he doesn’t put too many on them. Mostly because it’s the only way I can support him seeing as I’m broke.

In a sense yeah definitely play them for the skill improvement, but to profit off of the content it makes though would be heading into the shady territory.

It's a spotdash, Falcon's unique turnaround (he slides backward a little bit) can lead to him moonwalking or dashing in place when used correctly. It's actually a pretty useful tech for him because you can fake out approaches and punish accordingly with it. I don't see Fatality use it as much as he should tbh.

I think its debatable. She's really really good, but the issue is so are a LOT of characters in this game.
Like, other characters compeating for top 10.
Pikachu, Peach, Palutena, Joker, Snake, Shulk, ZSS, Wario, Wolf, Pokemon Trainer, GnW, Pacman, and then Inkling too.
Only 10 of these 13 chars can be top 10. And thats not even including other common top 10s some people have like, Chroy, Lucina, and Rob.
Personally, I put Inkling at 10th. I think she's preeety solidly top 15, but top 10 is definitely debatable. There are just soooo many really good chars in this game to say she's top 10 for sure.
I used to vehemently believe inkling was top 5 but especially top 10, I still can kinda see it but I finally have to see while having a good mu spread and good tools, they just struggle to kill and lots of other characters do that better.
@@w1l1 Her mu spread is solid but Inkling can't mindlessly do their gameplan like say Pikachu. They can get caught out easier than other higher tier characters by lower characters.
Killing outside of Booyah percent is really hard as well, not to mention how inconsistent Booyah is on some of the cast (Tink, Pika) which makes matchups significantly harder.

Considering all the match ups from first to 10 so far... Looks like falcon is at least high A tier consider fatality has had favorable sets against most of his opponents!
2 -2 matchups as well as like 10 -1 matchups. He doesn't have a single top tier matchup he wins (except maybe wolf) and he is consistently inconsistent. How is falcon high A-Tier?
I look at all his results not including this one and the one with Esam since the data doesn't work when you have a first to 10 and you change characters mid set. 5 out of the 18 matches he has done are against his favor so far! He has a 72% match up in his favor! 13 of the 18 matches so far!
Palu prolly still beats falcon but it’s a lot more doable than before. Unfortunately there isn’t a palu player (that isn’t Nairo big oof) that’s on Fatality’s level. Maybeeee Dabuz but it’s hard when the skill gap between him and the rest is soooo cavernous. Fatality godlike tho

The fact that inkling can JUMP after the roller... there is literally nothing Falcon can do to punish its attacks. Like ALL attacks are safe on Falcon.
That is objectively false my man. Fatality played bad in the games vs Inkling, his MU knowledge is poor against that character. I have no problem fighting Inklings and the 2nd best player in my region mains Inkling.
Pay attention to what Fatality was doing. Continually Raptor Boosting into roller when roller is a disjoint that's gonna beat it 100% of the time. Spamming USmash for YOLO kills or weak baits. Jumping around DAiring like no tomorrow. I love Fatality to death and he's a much better player than I am, but he played badly in those games versus Inkling and his lack of MU knowledge / recently acquired crutch of relying on raptor boost too much made him eat dirt here. He did better against G&W than he did this Inkling and you cannot convince me with a straight face that Inkling is a worse MU than G&W.
Fatality played bad. It happens to all of us, doesn't make the MU unwinnable. Inkling is a worse character than Palu who Fatality was stomping before the counterpick.
Fatality needs to hit the lab and rematch on a day when he's playing better. I promise you it'll go different if he does.
Deluge FGC interesting. I suck at this match up too. I feel like inkling is so slippery and agile I don't have the hit boxes to hit him. And also after I am left vulnerable most of the time trying to land hits on them. I guess approach options is dash attack?

There are a few characters that I'll never have respect for. Inkling is towards the top of that list.

Fatality seems inexperienced in the Inkling MU and wasn't playing too well once they came out. The amount of times he tried to default to Raptor Boost when roller came out was hard to watch, not to mention the spot dodging, UAir spam and everything else he was doing in neutral.
Before everyone freaks the fuck out and starts saying Falcon sucks or the Inkling MU is unwinnable, take into consideration there was pretty much 0 optimal Inkling counterplay going on and Palutena who he was wrecking is widely considered to be a better character than Inkling tier-wise.
You let that Inkling get away with too much Griffin, especially when you were on the ledge. Practice this MU, you'd be surprised how linear Inkling can get once you know what to do. Inkling imo is the worst top tier and possibly a contender for dropping out of top tier altogether eventually. You're a way better player than I am and I've managed to get the Inkling MU down to manageable. You can definitely do it. The MU isn't -2.
