- This week's video is about a custom leather carpenter's tool belt that we manufactured earlier this year. Carpentry is near and dear to Mark's heart, he just loves woodworking, and so he was very excited when this client approached us wanting a practical but also sexy tool belt/harness.
This carpenter belt has specific pockets and pouches for the tools our client uses on a daily basis. It consists of a solid, padded belt with brass hardware, fully adjustable suspenders with a yoke in the back (for his logo) and several custom pouches.

Damn good custom belt there buddy, now i need to sit down draw up a few ideas for myself. What might be a ball park figure on a carpenter 10-12 pocket ? Non suspension rig.

I have been trying to find an attachment or a pouch pocket to hold a wonderbar (flatbar) have you ever made one

Hi there thanks for the reply, and the link to the video. The weird part is that is the same video that I first saw that I posted my comment thread on. The video doesn't answer the question of whether there has ever been a pocket made for a Wonderbar (flatbar) which is different from a catspaw. I did find it interesting that the cat snuck by about 10 seconds after the cats paw was mentioned. It was almost purrfect
How did you go about measuring the yoke? Is it a Y shape or more of a tuning fork shape.
thanks for watching @JRBrown0016 and check out at 4:23 you get a good look at the yoke and it's kind of tuning fork shape and we measure along the collar line of their jacket to make it comfortable.
Wonderful. Any other tips @beaver mountain works? In the process of making my own and thats the last thing I got to figure out.
its good except the flat pockets on the outside of the main big pocket, the flat pockets need a bigger opening for ease of access for screws, nails, nail strips, and overall versatility. Time is money and if the user is taking 5 seconds to grab one screw/ nail because its hard to reach then production is no good. Other than that its uniquely well made.
Thanks for watching @LAGMASTER2000. The beauty of custom work is that the client dictates how big or small the pockets are, not us or anyone else ;-) Also please keep in mind, using it will soften and stretch the leather a bit.

They are flatter then a pancake custom hands u need to use that thing
