If they really did audition then they wouldn't have been kidnapped. Which means Pre-game Shuichi and Kaito were not a crazy high schoolers who want to commit homieside and Kaede was not a suicidal person. Which leads to a possibility Rantaro being in another game is also fake.
You can do whatever you want, but if Rantaro would die by Kaito would that mean Kaito took Kaedes place or Rantaro took Kokichi’s place? So basically did Kaito and Rantaro die in the first chapter or the 5th?
