Rikki, fed up with Charlotte's intrusion into what was once their close-knit group, decides to exclude herself, and leaves to spend more time with boyfriend Zane. Meanwhile, at the boring birthday party that Charlotte has organised for Lewis, Charlotte jealously locks Cleo and Emma in a flooded storage room, where they are left trapped as mermaids.

She’s really sweet, calm, and clearly pays attention to her friends interests,foods, hobbies, etc. She knew exactly the perfect bday party (in the first place) and gift for Lewis. And was still good friends with him even after their breakup.

Maybe the reason Charlotte got all three powers was because she was in the moon pool alone when she changed. Emma, Rikki, and Cleo were together, so the magic divided. Since Charlotte was alone, she absorbed all the magic.

Somewhat spoilers, but I think that is what was confirmed in the sequel- Mako Mermaids (from what I read). A solo human-turned-mermaid gets all 3 powers but if more than one is in the mood pool, the Moon/magic splits up.

I swear Lewis is a gem 😭💞. Besides that I can see where Rikky the only one that is seeing the bigger picture while the others are trying to make Charlotte feel included. Charlotte however has some... alot of personal internal issues (and want everything to go her way). She thinks that by overcompensating that she'll suddenly become the better person she wants to be. However her actions are just getting worse. Lying and basically bullying at this point 15:00 . I hope she gets better because I really am starting to truly despise her
