Back in the 90's onwards to around 2000 the bacon double cheese-burger deluxe was actually really tasty and decent. My friend and I used to have voucher books which had many 2 for 1 deals. It was awesome. Lunch ended up costing about $4.50 each. And we used to get 2 x of those bacon burgers each. $9 got us a great lunch. We got out drinks elsewhere. Now the same burger cost just under $14 and it's beyond gross. How times have changed. For the worse al-round. Lol

The meat they used is processed. It comes frozen in an over ready plastic bag, you thaw it, when soft you kneed it into a ball, stick a thermometer into it and pop it into the convection over.
