Anthony Bandiero and Zach Miller discuss if we have a search for residential premises, a single-family home, and narcotics and narcotics executing the warrant we’re searching the house and we noticed there is a part on the cartilage of this premises. Can we use the search warrant as authority to search the car even though the warrants mention nothing about vehicles on the curtilage?

Id say put specific cars on the warrant. "Avoid any and all" language in warrant with vehicles unless it's a chop shop/stolen car case in which the intrusion is more aimed at verification of the identity of the vehicle.

Okay, but we all know what will happen to Grandma if she happens to be there when a search warrant gets executed. Her car will get searched, if Grandma objects she will be handcuffed, placed into a cruiser and threatened with a charge of interfering.

thanks for remembering that even really druggy people do have mainstream friends and family.. In fact druggy people are a lot more "normal" than TV portrayals would have you believe..
