Yeah the 850 has 200cc's more than the 700. The 700 only has 650cc's. But the single piston high compression started catching him at the top end. And the 700 is about $8000 cheaper 700 Best Bang for the buck.
I bought a 23 commander 700 and I absolutely love it, was going to get an X3/RzR/Talon slightly used but decided to get a brand new 700 instead. It’s perfect for where and how I ride, I have no problem getting through whatever I need too, and the mid-range is great for faster trails…. I fought the new 700 we’re gonna be a lot weaker because the single overhead cam but it’s not, you’re did surprising good against that 850. That v-twin is just a beast at low end but after the jump you start gaining and passing. Plus it’s supposed to be a lot more reliable.
Sorry I just deleted your message by accident. Lol But what I was saying it's no fun bringing the wife with you that's why I bought a single passenger 🍻
for all of you thinking the 650cc 1 cylinder would have won you dont know what youre talking about. the 850 hit its limiter. thats why it was gaining on it
It did hit the rev limiter The 850 tops out of 106km and the 700 top out 104km But the 700 XMR is $9000 cheaper then the 850 Big difference in price for For a little bit more power
Not sure if there is a difference with the XMR 850 compared to a Max XT 850 but my Max Xt does 122Kmph it might go faster it's just where I keep backing off because I don't wanna die hahaha
Doubt it, pretty sure the XMR’s are all governed at 104 (65PMH) so I’m pretty sure the guy on the 850 just let off the gas a bit thus giving you the illusion that you were gaining. Just for reference I’ve hit 113km/h (70 MPH) on my 2023 570 Max XT and that was with a small passenger.
Of course the twin will get up faster but the new 700 held up pretty good. Looks like it has all the power you could want or need on the trail

I have an HD7 and it has plenty of power. It would blow my old 570 out of the water.
@@BC_Hunter I believe that it will eat a 570
@@G-Boyz.Outsidecan you find a 570 to race? That’s the comparison I really want to see!
@@Blazzin1 Well I'm going riding this weekend if I run into a guy with a 570 I'm definitely asking him to Drag race

Wow. Was not expecting that
that 700 1 cyl is pretty impressive,
had a renegade 1000 and sold it, this might be my next atv!
I got 1300km on it now no problems yet very impressed with this machine. And best bang for the buck right now.
@@G-Boyz.Outside for sure! pretty nice atv!
The 850 was cutting out at 100. 104 was catching it.
But how much more can the 850 tow and haul?? This is a great comparison. Im looking at getting one of these to work and play.
Sorry just deleted your message or by accident

The 700 is rated to tow 1,830 lb (830 kg). So, towing for the 700 is not an issue.
Is the 850 reflashed or is it still speed limited? Because there about. 25mph difference in those two machines when the 850 isn’t limited
The 850 is completely stock never been touched

That single runs really good. The difference from the 850 twin is nowhere near as big as i thought it would be
The new XMR 700 is basically the same size it has the same clearance as the 850
It'd no where near the same lol
@@Car-dx7qk The 850 is $8000 more than mine So i'd say it did pretty good against it for the money

how can you transform a 500 into a 700? it has the same 650cc engine
Cam's, gearing, and tuning
That impressive

All the XMR models are geared different for hitting those deep mud holes. They don't get the top speed like the other Can-am's do.
@@G-Boyz.Outside yeah that makes quite a bit of sense
Cool video
🍻
The 700 came back because of the governor on the 850 take the governor off and it’ll be completely different
How's it run against a Grizzly?
Not sure haven't ran into a Grizzly yet
There's a video on RUclips from TK powersports I believe with a drag race between the Outlander xt 700 and the Grizzly.
Look like u in 4x4...I hit that dsmn button all the time by accident

Has to be kmp and not mph
Yes in kilometers live in Canada
Yes.. 65mph

700 looked like it was coming back at the end a little further and the 700 would have came back around

Yeah pulls good mid-range to top end. Even I was surprised when I was chasing him down 💪🏻💪🏻
