Great battle, as a Hispanic myself! I have some other suggestions: Lex Luthor VS Jeff Bezos The Very Hungry Caterpillar VS Galactus The Backrooms VS Doors (Roblox)
I’m Hispanic-American, and I’m quite impressed by how good of a job the VAs for this did (I don’t know almost anything about their backgrounds, but I doubt that’s why you selected them to voice the characters). I can see this battle going either way, and after counting the disses and their effects on each other, I will give the win to Ernesto de la Cruz, who barely made it out alive. It helped that in his second verse, he immediately had consistent punches and referenced all of Puss’s deaths (with the background of each line helping give further context) with some lines even having a second diss in them. Puss in Boots also did well and used what he had to talk about, and while he did stage a comeback in the second round, it was just shy of enough to tie at best. I dislike Ernesto as a character, but he came victorious, though this is just my opinion It helped that you had Ernesto, who has less material (overall) go first; a rule that I often think should be consider in making a rap battle, since it makes for a closer fight. As for things I wasn’t a fan of here, the abrupt start and maybe some of the fast-paced parts felt strange to me. Flow is something to keep in mind and faster isn’t always better; fast parts can sound rushed and their audibility needs to be there. Watching this on my own has definitely made me reconsider what was actually abrupt; that would be the fast-paced editing. To be honest, though, nothing’s really perfect and the flaws are ones I’m fine with; the writing and voice impression were great. In the end, you’re an underrated content creator (both as someone who runs a rap battle channel and someone who ranks others’ rap battles), and honestly, I can see your potential.
