Thanks for watching! Make sure you check out all of the creators mentioned in my list. Also, don't forget to check out some of my own battles like this one: ruclips.net/video/XrRrCOoQIEA/видео.html
jack skellington vs the once-ler not being here is criminal 😭 on a serious note, 2024 was the first year that I personally started really watching and keeping up with rap battles, and i think this was a great year to do so! so many amazing, creative projects that just suck you in, and stay with you. I cant wait to see what comws out of 2025!
What makes Holden's second verse even more impactful to me, and what makes me think he won that without a shadow of the doubt, is not only how good the rhyme scheme is, how cool the concept is, how deep-cutting of a dis it is to AM, but that it fits Holden SO WELL. Holden is a man so engorged by violence and war, he LOVES war, he lives and breathes it, so much so, to him, it's poetic and mesmerizing, and there's no better character he can show his belief system off than AM, a being who exists explicitly BECAUSE OF WAR. That entire verse is basically Holden shitting on AM's pathetic existence, showing that he is in spite of all, correct, war birthed him and scarred him, he's the victim of circumstance, and that tragedy branches into an even bigger one, like it should be, like it was meant to be, as he would claim. I know AM has his "war is not God, I AM" line in his second verse, but... is he? Holden kinda proved his point, war DID dictate his existence. Holden is genuinely such a complex character that writing a verse for him is an intimidating concept from the get-go, so the fact it adapted him so faithfully in a rap battle context is a ridiculously high feat.
I’m just 3 minutes in, but I can tell how much effort went into making this. Just watching 50 different rap battles alone is tough-hell I don’t think I even watched that many last year-but editing all of this together and talking about each one? Nice job
I was really hoping to see TMNT VS Ghostbusters appear when going through the various Freshy battles in the top 10, and I was VERY happy to see those hopes come to fruition. Love that battle.
Really good ranking! While there are a few picks I'm surprised made the list, I agree with most of them. Also happy that my two personal favorites made the top ten in spots 7 and 3 respectively! *SPOILER WARNING PAST THIS POINT!* My favorite part of the video had to be the number one pick though. From the start, I was certain joke battles weren't gonna be added to the list, which made sense to me. As Spot vs Gaster, AM vs Holden and Doom vs Doof all got mentioned though, I genuinely struggled to think of what could be Number One, sure that I had forgotten a big one somehow, only to be jumpscared by fucking Abandoned by Disney vs Jack Skellington of Big Rap Battles fame. I legit burst out laughing. Excellent and entertaining video, loved hearing you imitate certain lines, and I am hyped to see what 2025 has in store for us!
i felt like i was talking with someone the entire video and debating over placements. i loved that i do have a complaint. And that was the lack of Nixon vs Clinton. In my opinion thats one of the most unique, funniest, and best rap battles
Holden did exactly what he accused AM of as he killed everyone who could've mercy killed him like in the IHNMAIMS novel, shoeing his hypocrisy and how his cruelty and malice doomed him just like AM.
Nice list! Definitely has some battles I really like but there’s also some different stuff from my top 50. It was great seeing your opinion on all of these rap battles, a lot of creators really showed their full potential in 2024. My #1 is Maya Fey vs Kyoko Kirigiri by Snakebite, this will probably shock a lot of people as it wasn’t a big and grand battle like some others, but it was super entertaining with strong writing all the way through and a fantastic beat. Maya’s first verse has been stuck in my head ever since I watched it and the Phoenix stuff was hilarious.
I completely agree with your number one pick it was beautiful and moving I had never watched it before but after this video I checked it out and I…I cried it was so emotional the disses were diabolical truly the best song ever made no questions asked
A great celebration of a great year of rap battles. As the year went I saw plenty of battles (including yours) that have gotten me inspired to try writing my own scripts. Not release them because I am nowhere near a position where I can make full battles. But maybe someday I will.
Judge Holden vs AM isn't just one of the best rap battles of 2024, it's one of the best rap battles ever made. I really hope ERB delivers with Cruise vs Knievel and heck even White Death vs Red Baron to at least have a chance to appear on your top 50 best list for 2025. PS: Colonel Sanders vs Bernie Sanders is also one of my favorites
I overall really like this list! The two main omissions I was shocked didn't even get honorable mentions were Skellington vs Onceler and Bouldergeist vs Stone Talus, but overall good choices! Rambley vs Kiniko being that low is also criminal My personal favourite is Jacket vs Batter due to how in character they're both portrayed. Also, if you understand spanish, I HEAVILY recommend the channel Keyblade. Their new Season 3 is animated to levels comparable to Eddiefrb, and their battles of Steve vs Villager and Pacman vs Kirby are some of my favourites this year
Thank you! I have seen the Kirby battle from Keyblade and while it could have been on the list, I didn’t really consider battles that I could fully appreciate the writing of. I don’t know enough Spanish to catch the wordplay, and I can clarify that in future rankings.
As good as a lot of these rap battles were, I am a little sad to see Titanium 1208 didn’t make it on the list. The dude made Bill vs Discord, which was a really fun and chaotic battle for 2 chaotic and fun characters. It’s worth a look if you haven’t seen it already
I didn't know Crowven had a rap battle so when I saw him in the honorable mentions I squealed at the top of my lungs and watched the vid in another tab then returned
Yukigloom's Sonic.exe literally gave me chills, even with its placement I'm surprised it wasn't higher on the list Also, Huggy Wuggy vs The Rolling Giant is probably the only piece of Poppy Playtime-related media that I wish to unironically associate with
i know the visualization is unbeatable in spot vs wd gaster, but ive only see one people talked about how the rap battle goes, gaster treating spot as an experiment its really in character, this is so far the best protayal on any fan fiction of gaster in history
Love the Batman Beyond vs Apollo Justice respect, might be my favorite battle ever. I do have to ask how this corresponds with the playlist. There are dozens of examples of this, but for just one example, you put Mr. Frog vs Bojack over Logan Paul vs Blair Witch Project. Yet LP vs BW is in the playlist, while Mr. Frog vs Bojack isn’t.
It was released a bit ago now, (2 years) but I am desperate for you to check out the battle "Norman Bates VS Korekiyo Shinguji" though it is better especcially when you know Korekiyo's lore
NGL, my favorites were Mr frog vs bojack, the spot vs W.D gaster, Doof vs doom, TMNT vs ghostbusters, huggy wuggy vs rolling giant, and judge holden vs AM
33:25 spoilers: the catch with it is that all of the characters in danganronpa 1 and 2 are fictional and the girl at the end was the supposed one who wrote the entire plot (even though this is not true) and she cosplays as them in the end
@PPRBguy yeah an as finisher is even wilder, referencing that everyone there is just fictional and in their reality they can only be cosplays, also since that one is one of my fav battles, u missed that the theme that connected them all is that they all are just copycats of another person, like mukuro is a copycat from junko and sammy from bendy

So here are the connections and who would win in a fight for each of these. Part 1 here, and Part 2 will be a reply. Dry Bones vs. Moist Critikal: A pun on dry vs. moist; Dry Bones will eventually win as soon as Charlie either runs out of bullets or lets it get too close. Crowven Corvuson vs. the Penguin: Bird-themed crime bosses; Penguin wins due to his combat experience and much more potent array of weapons. Beetlejuice vs. Blitzo: Crude villainous protagonists that live in the afterlife; Blitzo because he's much more experienced when it comes to fighting. Wallace and Gromit vs. Stewie and Brian Griffin: Duos of a British genius and a sarcastic dog; Stewie and Brian because they're more experienced with fights. Colonel Sanders vs. Bernie Sanders: Old men with the last name Sanders that are on the opposite ends of the capitalism vs. socialism debate; Colonel Sanders because he's marginally younger than his leaner foe. Rasputin vs. Jafar: Very skinny and gleefully evil treacherous advisors that use magic; Depends on whether Jafar is a human or a genie- Rasputin if it's the former, Jafar if it's the latter. Batman Beyond vs. Apollo Justice: Young successors to much more famous good guys; Terry because I don't think Apollo knows how to fight.
Part 2: Bowser vs. Ice King: Goofy yet threatening evil kings in lands dominated by one element; Bowser due to having a type advantage and a lot more tricks under his non-existent sleeves. Bop It vs. Mad Piano: Noisy instruments that are difficult to play properly; Mad Piano due to being sentient. Susie vs. Yuri: Purple ambiguous lesbians on opposite ends of the GPA scale; Susie due to being more experienced with fighting. Caine vs. Alastor: Constantly smiling red-colored hosts in very popular indie animated shows; Caine due to being the most powerful character in the verse as opposed to Alastor who's merely mid-tier. Chef Pee Pee vs. Teruteru Hanamura: Absurdly crude chefs; Teruteru because Pee Pee is just a puppet. The Merchant vs. the Happy Mask Salesman: Gamecube-era shopkeepers with memeworthy catchphrases; The Merchant because guns do more damage than masks. Maya Fey vs. Kyoko Kirigiri: Purple-colored female assistants to visual novel protagonists; Kyoko because Maya's not a fighter at all while Kirigiri has at least a couple fights. Dimentio vs. Plague Knight: Platformer villains that fight chiefly by throwing around projectiles; Dimentio due to his godlike abilities. The Spot vs. WD Gaster: Interdimensional monochrome scientists who have lost their grip on reality due to their pursuits; Gaster because Spot can't even touch him. The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles vs. the Ghostbusters: Quartets of 1980's pop culture icons that are based in New York City; the TMNT due to their martial arts mastery. Judge Holden vs. AM: Two of the most infamous villains in literature; AM due to being infinitely harder to kill than the more human-scale Holden. Dr. Doofenshmirtz vs. Dr. Doom: Evil scientists starting with "Dr. Doo" that come from fictional European countries and have lifelong nemeses that constantly ruin their plans; Dr. Doom due to being much more competent. Jack Skellington vs. Abandoned by Disney: Corruptions of things generally held sacred by children (Christmas and Mickey Mouse respectively); Jack because Abandoned by Disney just mutilates himself.
Freshy Kanal had a lot of good battles last year and they’re all very polished, but not all of them are personal favorites of mine. Moon Knight lacked punchy writing to me.
As someone who doesn’t know South Park as well, could someone here explain what the connection is between Eric Cartman and Charlie Brown? Is it a battle of opposites, or something else?
Jack vs abandoned by disney pales in comparison to super mario vs cod. that entire battle just has the best jokes. I still appreciate them having the number one pick

Crowven is from indie games made by ArcadeKitten, there are a few other battles with characters from the same creator such as Reginald vs Sykes by Evil Rap Battles and Cemetery Mary vs Preston's Hourglass by Shimario.
No offense to whoever made Jack vs Abandoned by Disney, but I just listened... there is no way that shit is number 1 out of 50 battles that came out this year come on man. It's good but like bro
Thanks for watching! Make sure you check out all of the creators mentioned in my list. Also, don't forget to check out some of my own battles like this one: ruclips.net/video/XrRrCOoQIEA/видео.html
No jack skellington vs oncler that was probably my favorite one this year

Glad you found your way to the rap battle side of the internet. I hope you enjoy what we put out this year!
Let's just say there was a better battle with jack last year
"That's right, I AM the Pumpkin King!" 🗣🔥🔥🔥
What makes Holden's second verse even more impactful to me, and what makes me think he won that without a shadow of the doubt, is not only how good the rhyme scheme is, how cool the concept is, how deep-cutting of a dis it is to AM, but that it fits Holden SO WELL.
Every comment I see about this battle somehow makes it even better. Thank you for this.
Took me a few days to get through this but aaaaaa what a wonderful trip through the year, great time
Great year for battles, I'm so glad you enjoyed this.
I’m just 3 minutes in, but I can tell how much effort went into making this.

Holden vs. AM is honestly what I'd call Snakebite's magnum opus
Genuinely one of the best battles I've ever heard from every aspect and then some
I was really hoping to see TMNT VS Ghostbusters appear when going through the various Freshy battles in the top 10, and I was VERY happy to see those hopes come to fruition.
Love that battle.
Really good ranking! While there are a few picks I'm surprised made the list, I agree with most of them. Also happy that my two personal favorites made the top ten in spots 7 and 3 respectively!

i do have a complaint.
A great celebration of a great year of rap battles. As the year went I saw plenty of battles (including yours) that have gotten me inspired to try writing my own scripts. Not release them because I am nowhere near a position where I can make full battles. But maybe someday I will.

jacket vs the batter may be my favourite rap battle, it's just excellent even if you have no idea who the characters are!
Cartman vs Brown is definitely the battle of the year, not even top 10 is criminal
Like I said, it's great, but just not one of my personal favorites.
this is Powerpoints list, while I agree it should've at least made top 10 that's our opinion not his
Also: Cartmans second verse is also a reference to Charlie Browns VA comitting self termination after getting cancer.

I’m quite surprised Cam Steady’s Rayquaza VS Deoxys didn’t make it. It’s probably the best rap battle he’s ever made.
Did not expect a schaffrillas reference
The fall of from Karl Marx V Ford to Godzilla V Kong needs to be studied
Gozilla vs Kong is great.
Trump vs Kamala on the other hand-
Love the Batman Beyond vs Apollo Justice respect, might be my favorite battle ever.

can i just ask what the point of this? i already have a playlist with over 300+ rap battles.
It’s a personal ranking of his favorite ones?
@@MasonG1Up didnt realise lol
No Yugi vs Moon Knight? Damn. It got robbed
Freshy Kanal had a lot of good battles last year and they’re all very polished, but not all of them are personal favorites of mine. Moon Knight lacked punchy writing to me.
It’s my personal favorite Freshy battle of the year. Second favorite overall.
As someone who doesn’t know South Park as well, could someone here explain what the connection is between Eric Cartman and Charlie Brown? Is it a battle of opposites, or something else?
Mario vs COD should of gotten top smh
Some battles are too good to be ranked among their contemporaries.
This hurt not seeing Godzilla vs King Kong here...
Don’t worry, it’s in the thumbnail.
Jack vs abandoned by disney pales in comparison to super mario vs cod. that entire battle just has the best jokes. I still appreciate them having the number one pick
That’s a respectable take. I only wanted to include one joke battle and Jack is my favorite.
charlie brown vs eric cartman should be number #1
Where the hell Is Dante Vs Ebony Darkness Dementia Raven way From Wethink Channel!!!???
Why isn’t Legend57 here?
I only wanted to include one joke battle, and Jack Skellington vs Abandoned by Disney is my favorite one. The Legend57's are great too.

That came out in 2023, so it wasn’t eligible.
not including The Flying Dutchman vs King K Rool is criminal :(
Yeah, maybe I should have included it, maybe at 48th or something.
He did include it 😭 48th place
My bad I was not paying attention for like 4 min an IG this was when I didn't pay attention lol@@PPRBguy
Just letting you know its spelled caine not kane
Ah, those chapters were automatically added recently. I didn’t choose the spelling. I might try to remove those.
30:52 someone called?
Good job in that rap battle, I thought you won.
@PPRBguy thanks, appreciate it.
@PPRBguy though I'm surprised that Jack Skellington Vs The Onceler wasn't here
I also liked Mario vs call of duty
Me too, I just wanted to limit the joke battle mentions to one.
What joke battle? This is high quality stuff, unlike erbog I hate that channel
Wow
very happy dr doofenshmirts vs dr doom got second but I feel like it probably should of gotten 1st place
The #1 I put instead was a joke, Doom is my actual #1.
I’d better see Bernie Sanders v Colonel Sanders here
List disqualified for not having erb
I highly encourage you to check out some of these other creators. ERB is great, but there are so many other fantastic series.
@@PPRBguy Yup, and also, while I love them, they didn't delivery their best in 2024, especially with the extremely mediocre Harris vs Trump battle.
That Godzilla vs King Kong was animated so poorly.
Motion capture
Still not good. @MinMin4theWinWin
2:20 Penguin vs Who?
Crowven is from indie games made by ArcadeKitten, there are a few other battles with characters from the same creator such as Reginald vs Sykes by Evil Rap Battles and Cemetery Mary vs Preston's Hourglass by Shimario.
Please check out the game Cemetery Mary it will change your life
No offense to whoever made Jack vs Abandoned by Disney, but I just listened... there is no way that shit is number 1 out of 50 battles that came out this year come on man. It's good but like bro
what kind of bar is "This is rapping-ween" 💀😭
That was a joke, which is why I included a #51. You can move everything else up if you don't want it to count.
no Mario 64 vs. Ocarina of Time by Mr. Jay worst ranking ever
