Oprah keeps interrupting and not letting him teach and finish what he is saying. I am grateful for this video on conversation form. Obviously, she has greatly benefited from his teachings. I would rather hear his teachings when no one is talking but him.
Oprah is at the beginning of her awakening journey, let's already be grateful that she brings him to the show so he gets the visibility that he deserves.

I like how she interviews. I feel like she breaks down each concept in simple words that most people will understand.
I too sometimes think this, however we can listen to him uninterrupted on his own RUclips video, she is stopping him and having more of a conversation as opposed to a monologue.😌🥰💗both are an interesting way for us to learn and really absorb this idea of consciousness.

it makes sense she interupts - she is trying to bring the deep wisdom down to an npc level , so all the egos can understand instead of just sitting there all confused. Its actually very good.

@dianeibsen5994 I mean that by hearing Oprah's questions and seeing her interrupt Eckhart frequently, we can tell that she has yet to grasp the essence of spirituality. The quality of truly listening and being present is not yet there, but it's perfectly fine, it's in the making 👌

There is wonderful content online from Eckhart speaking on many spiritual subjects. No need to gripe about Oprah.
I get a sense that the "The Deep I" is resonant with the Buddhist concept of we are awareness like "the blue sky" that observes the clouds and has no attachment or aversion but accepts "what is" in the moment.
Oprah’s presence was heavy. It was painful to watch how pressured her comments and interjections were, she was firing them out, and she sounded so demanding. This interview was difficult to bear.

There is no conditioned self....its only a conditioning.....the identification with conditioned mind bring sufferings....
