I love Camila's runs. I love that she's always trying new things, makes every performance unique and never lets the acoustic performances have long silences that would normally be filled by backtrack. Normani just feelin' Ally's high notes is cute. Lauren and Dinah in the corner are hysterical. Dinah knows how to never be bored during this song and the way she makes Lauren laugh and smile is always adorable! This is great!
Totally agree!! and all the other girls should learn from Camila and do it too, especially Lauren 'cause she is the only one who doesn't seem to try new things, the others do try (not as much as Camils but still).

I love the way Camila improvises on her parts. You never know what to expect. She really mixes things up. All these girls are brilliant. And Normani has really improved. I used to think of her as more of a dancer than a singer but she has proved me wrong! Way to go Mani.

Ok. ANYONE who says Camila's runs &...extra bits were unnecessary, GTFO! She absolutely SLAYED this performance. This should've been the studio version. SLAY me QueenMila. She was criminally on point. I see they realized that Normani sings the chorus beautifully & let her fully sing instead of whisper like Lauren, Dinah, & Ally. Her solo is perfection. Lauren's voice gives me chills. Especially her rasp when she says "spark" OMG! Dinah at the end is life itself. I never noticed until now that she is the bass of the chorus. And kudos to the amazing guitar player. This is their best Sledgehammer yet. And to LegendAlly & her beautiful belts, I say bravo! Such effortless vocal beauty. Can they please give more performances like this.

This was one of their best sledgehammer performances to date. Camila's note changes were amazing, Lauren always kills her part, Ally my baby Ally sounded great and Normani well Normani blew me away. Her run at the end of the bridge, I'm alive. And we always get cute Laurinah moments so this was just a great performance, this made me so happy. Also normally were adorable wow, this was so perfect.

Maria Vagfyan Camila and Lauren have always had the spotlight though (up until the album, now it's just Camila) and YES, we have ALWAYS been saying that the other girls should get a chance to shine. What we're saying is that yeah, Camila's voice is unique, but she's far from being the strongest singer. Her voice goes out the most and she's the one who most often sounds strained. Normani, Ally, Dinah and now Lauren need a chance to shine too.

Your theory would make sense if Camila had also taken the backseat on Reflection, but this is the second album she leads and her solos just got longer.
