I'm sick of wearing wigs too. I just wish a long time ago what I know now about natural hair i would have done something different. But one thing I do is take care of my natural hair. But people are so judgemental about someone's hair. Especially black women we judge each others hair. But I am praying that God gives all black women the confidence to just wear our natural hair. I wear silk presses and natural blown out styles I’ve been natural for over 10 years but used to wear sew ins and wigs non stop. It’s so freeing to let go of the fake hair. I feel more authentic

I stopped wearing wigs and extensions 14 months ago but whenever I see one of these videos I watch them as a reminder and affirmation. My hair is in the best condition ever. I have mirco locs and noticed new growth in areas outside of my loc grid❤ thank you!
I felt the same way ..I loved the styles and colors but after wearing them I be so ready to take them off ..I bought so many wigs and I'm not happy or satisfied anymore ..I been wearing my hair and being natural I have falling in love with my own hair ..I use to feel so happy and excited about wearing the wigs but now I'm at peace being myself ...I feel so fake with wigs .it has damaged my real hair .losing my edges etc costing money to just try the wigs and throw them away.. I'm so over it ..Ladies love yourself the way God made you
Here you but if you have thinness due to menopause you are not going out without A wig which makes you feel more confident in yourself especially if the wig is natural looking. As for looking older in a wig it all depends on the wig you are wearing!
Hello I just came across this video and I’m having issues with my crown area. I don’t know if it’s the wig cap and wig together breaking that area off or age I’m 51yrs old. Please can you or someone see this can you please give me some suggestions. It be really appreciative.
It could be high manipulative hairstyles such as braids. In order to know what is causing the issue in the crown area you need to think of the times when your crown was fine, then think what has changed in the way you take care of your hair. Lastly when you have issues with your hair it’s best not to go to hairdressers you don’t want other people’s hands in your hair at this point. I would say stop the wigs oil your crown with rosemary oil mixed with almond oil please make sure it’s organic rosemary oil and wear scarf when going out also make sure it getting fresh air. Don’t add extensions to your hair until you have recover.

I have tossed my wigs and weaving hair along with my chrochet hair all of them this is my second time removing all of my insecurity hair all of it this time with no regrets except for the waste of my money I'm cutting back on wasteful spending and i have been wearing my natural hair with confidence, this was before I found this blogger.

Our hair is stunning, short or long, low density or high density, beautiful kinks and coils. I used to hate my hair- I relaxed it till it broke off and eventually made the decision to go natural. I started to care for and love my hair and the more I loved her, the more she lived me back. In less than three years my 4c hair has grown past my nipples and everywhere I go I get stopped and complimented. These negative ideas about our hair are LIES driven by jealousy of other people because they are just that threatened by our beauty 😌

I knew that I was tired when I would buy a wig try it on , and throw it in a drawer somewhere.
