19 years later and it still chaps my ass that this wasn’t included on Vespertine Live. I can sort of understand her wanting to take it in another direction for Medulla, but this version is opulence and deserves a spot in her discography somewhere!
oh, thank you SO MUCH for this! i had this in my laptop in 2001, and when it crashed, i lost everything! i never thought i'd see this again, and shot from another camera too! THANK YOU! *beams of love coming to you!* :)
Neftali Atherley This Version sounds like Who Is It? Was originally planned to be on Vespertine and I actually prefer this one over the final version and the bell choir Mix,this one just sounds so much more sensitive and intimate and deep ❤️❤️❤️
Thanks, lagidigear, for the add to your previous posting of this concert. I like both of these songs very much, especially 'It's in Our Hands" (what a finale). Yaaay Bjork!!
She might've written the song during the vespertine tour. And judging from her excitement, this mustve been the first time this song was sung in a crowd.
Thank you, Matmos/MCS for making it alright. I can relate to the way the first song sounds and looks. And when I used to play with you, I had a literal dream of the second song and a huge audience clapping so far out and long that we almost lost our beat in its huge enthusiasm. I woke up from the dream. Though I did not know the dinger, I knew it was you!!! Love!❤️
This was easily the weakest version of “Who Is It” performed live, but not because of Bjork, because of everyone else. Ironically, this is my most favorite song from her Medulla album.
bless whoever recorded this lost moment in time...
"Do you speak english?" LMAO

The chords for the chorus are better in this one I love it
Why are people hating on this version of Who is it its absolutely stunning 😭😭
Probably because how incredible the album version is while this is ALOT different. Reminds me in some way of choir mix version
this amber-colored ostrich is a rare species in our time
0 dislikes. As it should be.
Matthew Barney saw this and disliked from his bunker
@@m.couronne Lmao
This early version sounds so much softer and tender,it’s so beautiful!
THIS is my favorite version of this song. Too bad this recording has no basses :-(
Apparently Bjork has soundboard recordings from every show of this tour....maybe itll pop up on a box set some day ?
The basses are in our hearts
The choir is acting as the bass
Wow!!!
Absolutely astounding.
This is an artist who demands attention and should go into any hall of fame that ever exist.

Best Performance of these two songs EVER! wonderful to see how she enjoys to sing them both
Yes!
So goddam lovely...!!!!!!!!!!!!
The pleasure is all hers...
Didn't know Who is It was kicking around as early as 2001. Excellent find! 👏🏾
I didn't know either until this video.
again, one of this live version of hers which I wish was studio-recorded as well!
Who is it, so beautiful. Even more because this is the first showing! But only one or two lyrics were changed in the final version. Excellent!

@@marioarauz5055 not with this parts comming from choir it whoud then better fit on volta!
ManBehindTheMirror - Collections I never thought about that,It could be!, It lacks horns tho and those are present in most tracks on Volta
@@marioarauz5055 Yeah its difficult! Volta tracks have also no choir! 🤔
😀👍
dolcissima, graziosa, piccola, coloratissima, fantasiosa grande rappresentante del genio femminile... grazie Bjork!!!
Ah how I hope she'll sing who is it in her orchestral tour! Here's hoping
And she did!
Oh man, oh man, to have been in that audience
my mind just wandered to some other dimension when that woman started singing at 2:27.
AMAZING, GREAT VERSION OF WHO IS IT :)
This is pure magic!, I loved it, thanks for this, love the choir also.
Alguien me dijo una vez que estoy enamorado de esa mujer. Estoy empezando a darle la razòn.
Increíble! que gran momento para estar grabando! gracieeeee
Can anyone translate the Kalaallisut lyrics at the beginning?
I can’t, but my guess is that it’s just gibberish vocalizations that wouldn’t make too much sense when translated, just like Björk does

Wasn't "who is it" released in 2004 with Medúlla?
She might've written the song during the vespertine tour. And judging from her excitement, this mustve been the first time this song was sung in a crowd.
Yeah, I was thinking the same here. Thanks!
yes, first time live
I love Bjork, she's Special!! Zeena Parkins was great too
Thank you!
HAHAHA... Sou! Até achei estranho ver "Mercúrio" escrito em Português. Suspeitei. HAHAHA

I prefer "it's in our hands" over "who is it?"
